Finally received my copy of Bright Star! @butleronice It’s so beautiful I’m so happy I finally have this beautiful art in person! I love this story so much. (Btw if you are a yoi fan and you haven’t read this comic, go to their blog and look through the bright star tag, will not be disappointed)

Galactic AU Ice Dance?

Having recently rewatched Torvill and Dean’s Venus, I can’t get it out of my head that butleronice’s gorgeous Galatic AU is actually a program Yuuri and Victor put together for an ice show:

“Yuuri! You should skate entirely nude to better represent a young star!”

Yuuri votes down this brave creative suggestion.

Victor nearly eats ice multiple times trying out the choreography, while wearing a long silver train meant to represent a comet’s tail before Yuuri quietly brings up the possibility of him wearing a long wig that might give a similar effect, without hindering his motion as much. Victor spends the rest of the practice muttering about his hairline.  

After their first performance of the program there is so much hugging and crying though, and they both absolutely refuse to let go of each other for the rest of the night.

I imagine it would be a little similar in the basic concept to Daisuke Takahashi and Stephane Lambiel’s Anthem where they literally don’t touch until the very, very end.
