01. Who is the most affectionate?
they all have their moments and their own ways of being affectionate. rin loves physical contact, and hugs, and poking his lovers in the cheek, or patting their bottoms at random times. he also loves giving little love bites, but haru complains, though he doesn’t always push rin away. makoto loves loves loves to spoil his lovers. haru is the most standoffish usually, and the most likely to let things slide, but he has his moods, his times when he just… reaches out to touch his lovers’ hands, caressing along their fingers, plus he loves kisses. so many kisses. gentle, sweet kisses. so, haru and rin would say that makoto is, but makoto would say that it’s a tie between haru and rin. ^_~
04. Favorite non-sexual activity?
just being piled on top of each other, doing whatever. makoto reading or playing a game, rin grading papers or texting, haru snoozing or watching a documentary, and they’re all on top of each other or just on the bed, intertwined. …it occurs to me that i’m interpreting this as ‘favorite non-sexual INTIMACY activity’ and if it means just… activity activity, then that would be swimming, hands down.
05. Who is most likely to carry the other?
makoto will carry either of his lovers upon request. or even if they just pout and act super tired. things get tricky, ofc, when haru and rin decide to BOTH be bratty and demand to be carried at the same time, because makoto will try, he really will try, the dear. but, it always ends up with them in a pile on the ground. (which isn’t the WORST thing that could happen to them…) rin will happily carry haru at any time, mostly because he loves showing off his strength and the fact that haru lets rin carry him. haru, however, will absolutely refuse to carry rin, which mostly doesn’t bother rin, and he’ll laugh it off, like, oh, well, OBVIOUSLY you CAN’T carry me, what was i thinking? but haru will stubbornly retort that he CAN carry rin, he just WON’T, which will annoy rin. both rin and haru will TRY to carry makoto, and they probably COULD, at least for short distances, except for the fact that makoto just WON’T stop fidgeting and fussing, worrying that he’s hurting his lovers… but from time to time haru and rin will work together at carrying makoto. and that always, always results in them tossing makoto onto the bed. (the first time they did this on the waterbed, the bed bucked and swayed and rolled enough to nearly throw makoto out, and then he get really scared that he’d caused a leak, so they were told not to do that again. …they did, though, but they tried to do it more gently…)
08. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?
they still use the names from their childhood, like haru-chan (which still gets a drop the -chan) or rinrin, or like makochan, like nagisa calls him. rin tried desperately to get makoto and haru to call him sharkboy but it just never took…
18. Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)
while they were saving up for their house, and they were brown bagging it, whoever made the lunches for that day would often leave a little note. haru’s would say something simple like 'have a good day’ but it would also include a cute drawing of like a shark or an orca, or sometimes a kitty, or a pokemon. he did give rin a fright once by drawing iwatobi-chan…. rin’s messages would be like motivational shark messages, though his shark drawings were really messy and crude, and he would sometimes write things like 'Counting the minutes until you get home so I can blow you!!!’ makoto’s messages would most often say something simple like 'have a great day!! love you!’ but he’d also sometimes write things like 'i really love your smile, i’m so glad we’re all in this together!!’
24. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times?
rin LOVES to do this. during a movie, or while they are out to dinner… even at dinner at the tachibana house… he’ll just lean over and whisper something explicit into his lover’s ear, and then sit back, smirking. haru is pretty impervious, but rin once made makoto jump away from the table and run to the bathroom while they were having dinner with his folks. haru, however, has been known to sometimes say inappropriate things out loud in front of everyone, so. makoto, being totally unaware of his orca charms, will sometimes try to retaliate by doing this back at the next opportunity, but he’ll rub the tip of his nose along his lover’s neck, and whisper in a deep, husky voice, his breath hot against his lover’s ear… haru and rin agree (though makoto wails that it isn’t so) that CLEARLY, makoto is the most inappropriate and dangerous one of the three of them.
Who is a night owl:makoto. he never means to be, but he always ends up just… reading a little, or watching just ONE show, or something. haru nods off and is always asleep by midnight. rin is disciplined, and usually prefers to be asleep earlier, but he at least can stay up with makoto if he’s properly motivated
Who is a morning person:rin is the most morning person, at least as far as being chipper and active. he never gives up his morning run/exercising. haru is next, but he stops competing with rin over who can run further/fastest doing morning runs etc eventually, and he’s sluggish in the morning. makoto is sloooooow to get out of bed, and then panic hits in because omigodi'vegottwentyminutesbeforemytrain!!!!!
Are they cuddlers:all three of them. all the time.
Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon:i dunno how this works precisely with threesomes, but… once they get their waterbed, and makoto doesn’t get so overheated in bed at night, haru and rin like wrapping themselves around makoto. otherwise, they do still shift around who gets to be in the middle, and they make a sandwich and squish up the middle guy, because the two on the end still want SOME physical contact most nights.
What is their favourite sleeping position:wrapped up together.
Who steals all the blankets:makoto. another good reason why haru and rin are grateful for the waterbed and makoto taking the middle. ofc, rin is pretty good about stealing them, too. haru keeps track. he’s got a journal. 'Nights I’ve Woken Up Cold Because of Rin.’ rin gets VERY pissy when he realizes haru doesn’t keep track of when makoto steals the blankets and leaves haru cold. haru just turns his face away and insists that makoto can’t help it, the big puppy. hey, makoto objects, but rin has already moved on. 'it’s not like I’M doing it on purpose!’ he insists. 'you could try harder,’ haru remains stubborn. makoto takes haru’s journal away from him, and tells them to kiss and make up.
What they wear to bed:boxers, boxers and tees, or nothing. often, nothing.
Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt:haru and rin will come to blows fighting over makoto’s shirts. makoto does not approve, but he does like it when either of them wear it. haru will often steal rin’s shirts, too, but he pretends he’s doing it to be pissy and rin pretends to be annoyed.
Who falls asleep mid-conversation:makoto. haru will, if it’s getting late. rin thinks they’re both adorable.
Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares:sometimes rin, strange dark dreams about being left behind, being isolated. he grabs onto his lovers, and bites down on makoto. they let him. sometimes, makoto. his dreams are weirder and have ghosts or other monsters, and he thinks he shouldn’t be letting them get to him so much, so he tries to keep still, but his whimpering will wake the other two, who will kiss him all over until he calms down. haru’s nightmares are so rare, and when he wakes up, he realizes where he is and with who, and just goes right back to sleep.
Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep:rin. rin, so many times. haru snipes about it, but it happens enough that they just sorta get used to it. haru, a few times, but he apologized when he did it to makoto, and not to rin, and that started a fight (that they both so clearly were enjoying that makoto didn’t even bother breaking it up, because they all know that haru and rin will only apologize to each other when it’s Serious Stuff, so). makoto once shoved both his lovers off the bed in the middle of the night, and was apologizing for a month, so…
Who can’t keep their hands to themself:none of them can. they all need hands on each other. at all times, if possible. skinship is love. ^_~
makoharurin, one of them finds a kitten and brings it home and has to convince the other two to keep it!!!! <3!!
