Tali: Shepard! What can I do for you?
Kiwi: Suck my dick.
Kiwi: I'M SO SORRY.
I'm still working this idea out. It's all Fly's fault, okay. Title and subsequent parts forthcoming.

Cornix was haunted by the thought that she shouldn't be here. Not any specific place, but here—alive and breathing. Once the anger had faded, once she had cooled her rage with the complete decimation of the Collectors, there was only that thought. It wriggled around in the back of her head, and it screamed in certain moments. Like when Lysander mentioned Liara, like when she scrolled past that damn email fucking Kaidan had sent her after the mess on Horizon, like when she walked in on Tali and Garrus talking.
They were in the mess, and she had come down at Chakwas' summons. (Which probably meant yet another lecture about all the drinking and all the stress.) She had heard them laughing. As she approached, Garrus started shifting his weight back and forth and twitching his mandibles.
Grinning, she said, "I know that look."
Tali turned, startled, at her voice. "Commander!"
Cornix frowned slightly. "Am I interrupting?"
"No," Tali answered, then she looked at Garrus. "No? I mean, of course not! We were just talking about you."
She arched her brows.
"About your—uh, subtlety in flirting. Specifically when you tried to corner Tali in the elevator."
"Ah." Cornix rubbed at the back of her neck. How was that funny? "When was that?"
"Just a few nights ago. You asked me if I liked to dance. You don't remember?"
She could feel the blush burning up the back of her neck, then. "Right," Cornix mumbled, glancing at Garrus. His eyes smiled at her. "I—vaguely recall. Thought that was a dream."
Tali chuckled, "Do you often ask me to dance in your dreams?"
"Well, maybe not... dance, per se."
Garrus had a laugh at that but then said something about needing to run some more calibrations. When he walked past, he gave Cornix's arm a gentle squeeze. Tali excused herself as well. Alone again, she sighed.
The Normandy is just a huge space banana
