I’m confused on something, is Tangledroots dead or in a coma? Also, is there any other mediator to train Rabbitpaw? Out of curiosity, what would have happened if Riverfrost was picked as the medicine cat instead of her sister? Also, I want to give Willow a hug or my main oc gives hug Willow, she is officially one of my favorites and I feel like she is having a hard time, if anything happens to her, Creekclan can keep my pirate airship or you can keep my soul. (Let’s just ignore that my profile pic is my main oc in her wolf form /j).
Also, since I lost my mind again (and a bit exhausted from today), here is Buttercupshiver who I call my therapist cat, he will sit down with someone to hear their problems and give them advice (let’s admit we all need a mini Buttercupshiver sometimes).

Tangledroots is in a coma. He's hanging on by a thread. Willowsway is his primary caretaker and has to change his bedding, manually crush his food with rocks and feed it to him, and give him herbs she think might help. It's exhausting and she wants him to die already.
Rabbitpaw does not have a mentor! She has always been a bit of a freethinker and didn't want to listen to an adult. She also just likes gossip and this way she can be in everyone's business.
Riverfrost would... not have been a good medicine cat. She has absolutely zero connection to StarClan for one. Like most cats are average and she is way way way below average. I should make a chart of everyone's connections... She also generally does not have the patience for it, or the memory. She's my ADHD kitty.
I’m very curious about this, but what if Clovegleam was able to save Graykit? Would have Graykit became deputy instead of Coneriver? Now I can see a Survived AU where Graykit survived the shrew attack or an animal attack the shrews but left Graykit alive (like if the ghost of Graykit’s mother reincarnated as a wolf and walks around Murkclan’s territory) and became a medicine cat. Also, I guess with Buttercupshiver being a therapist for Murkclan, I guess that is a AU now, I can see that AU being called Buttercup Therapy AU. Also, how would Rootstar feel about Buttercupshiver? I am now curious, how Graykit would react to Buttercupshiver if Graykit lived? My thoughts are going crazy again 🥲. I miss Graykit, he should have had a littermate that looked like him or he should have survived the shrew attack! Curse you Clangen we say in unison!
Graykit Survives AU
I think about this one a lot. Because as much as I can make stuff up, I'll never truly know what could've been 😔
Graykit had the quiet trait and the "quick to make peace" skill, which would've evolved into a proficiency to mediate. So, he could've possibly become a mediator apprentice and had Sagegrass as his mentor!
However, I think it's pretty clear that he really wanted to be a warrior. I like the idea of Clovegleam noticing that his kit is missing and rushing out of camp to find him, and saving him from the shrews. I think after spending some time healing in the healer's den (and after many many safety talks from the adults), he would've been apprenticed under his father.
I can imagine Clovegleam developing a sort of helicopter parenting relationship with Graypaw. Graypaw would probably be really frustrated by this and so would spend his time venting to Conepaw. The two would definitely be best friends. I think Graypaw would also really get along with Woolpaw, since both are a bit stubborn.
Graywish would definitely want to become deputy. (I mean, he wanted to have his apprentice ceremony at 3 moons old! He's clearly a little ambitious). So I do think there would be some tension with him and Coneriver when Coneriver still becomes deputy. Rootstar wouldn't have chosen Graywish because of him sneaking out and almost getting himself killed, and Graywish thinks that's stupid. (Clovegleam also has a part to play in this, begging Rootstar not to make his son deputy so he doesn't get himself hurt) (Because he'd have a harder time watching over him if he were deputy) He'd be kind of bitter towards Coneriver, but after talking it out with him, they'd be alright.
That's about all I have for now, so I also want to show Graykit's sprites because they're adorable :)))
I miss Graykit too :((( I really wish I could've seen what he would've grown to become.

Buttercup Therapy AU
Rootstar would really appreciate Buttercupshiver, especially with all the death currently happening! It's nice to have someone who's willing to let others lean on them. :)
If Graykit lived, he probably also would've looked up to Buttercupshiver! Shadowspore would basically be his sister (and so would Teaseldrizzle) so to have someone who's willing to offer so much help... He finds that admirable.
His mediator trait means that he knows just how draining mediating and listening to others can be, so he's really impressed by just how much of a help Buttercupshiver is being.
Do any of the founders miss their families who they left behind when they made Murkclan? Which cat(s) hates the rogues the most right now? What would a swap AU look like? (Like what if Sagegrass died to the dogs instead of two of her kits). Do any or all of the cats have voice claims or what you think they’ll sound like? Will Murkclan go to war or battle the rogues (at this point, I feel like the rogues are just trying to cause a war or something 😭🥲) Also, I think all Murkclan needs a therapist so here is my cat Buttercupshiver who is a cat therapist, he isn’t a mediator, but he is cat who will sit there and here your problems and help you, he is definitely a male version of Fluttershy from Mlp (let’s all admit, we all need a mini Buttercupshiver in our lives.) Sorry for the long ask again, I just I love this Clangen comic! My favorite character is Coneriver, I am sad that we never got to see any Coneriver x Shadowspore kits. I wanna hug Coneriver so much because I feel like he is having a hard time with raising Hickorykit.

Do any of the founders miss their families who they left behind when they made MurkClan?
Almost all of the founder's family members are dead/unimportant to them. After looking through their backstories, there's really only one who does miss someone they left behind.
Flipkite had no littermates, but did have 4 younger siblings, one of whom he grew very close with. His younger sister, Shadeeagle (his only surviving sibling), joined FlameClan and now resides there. Flipkite really does miss her and she misses him too, but their political views were too different for them to remain in the same clan during the split.
I hopefully do plan on going more in depth on Flipkite's backstory in a potential mini comic/story!
Which cat(s) hates the rogues the most right now?
You'd think Sagegrass, but she doesn't actually know the rogues were the reason the dog got to Shadowspore (Mantisclaw was too traumatized to tell them). She just thinks a dog got to her.
Clovegleam and Fielddapple were both ambushed by rogues, Fielddapple's encounter resulting in a scar. So based on that, I'd say Fielddapple hates them the most.
What would a swap AU look like?
Ooh that is a really interesting question! I'd love to think of more swap AU scenarios (if I end up posting any, I can tag you in them if you want!). I'll answer the one you specified, so: "What if Sagegrass died to the dogs instead of two of her kits?"
Maybe in this AU, Sage was helping Shadow patrol, resulting in both of them getting targeted by the rogues
Sage notices the dog earlier and alerts Shadow, causing the two to make a run for it. Sage being older and not as fast as a warrior (since she's a mediator) gets caught instead and killed
I imagine Shadow wouldn't have just let her get maimed and tries to fight back, but her smaller size puts her at a disadvantage, causing her to get wounded (and potentially scarred too)
Mantis helps her bring back Sage's body and Shadow is immediately rushed into the healer's den
After a while, Shadow tells them of the danger of the dogs, but she also tells them of the rogue group. Now that it is known that the rogue's actions have lead to death, patrols are sent out less frequently and in larger groups. Teaseldrizzle doesn't die to the dog.
I imagine Shadow gets a lot closer with Anise in the healer's den (they grieve together). Prairie's mental state worsens, but I think Clovegleam would step up and become a much more prominent mentor/parental figure to them. He's also grieving a lot, but he needs to protect them now. Burnspeckle deals with the grief the best, but Woolclaw has trouble handling it. She temporarily takes a break from her duties, causing Flipkite to step in to help.
Woolclaw gets angrier because of the death and she probably goes out to hunt for the rogues herself. She manages to kill Onyx, but is mortally wounded because of the encounter. Her death only hits the siblings (and Clovegleam) harder.
I think in the future, Shadow would name a kit in her litter after Sage and Wool.

Will MurkClan go to war or battle the rogues?
Rootstar really wants to avoid conflict. He doesn't want to go to war with anyone, honestly, and mostly just tries to avoid things when they get bad.
That being said, there are definitely a good number of clan members who would fight the rogues. Especially if they knew the role they played in Shadowspore's death.
MurkClan technically does have therapists!! :D That role is filled by the mediators, though as you can guess, they aren't doing so well right now. Buttercupshiver would be a big help to them all at the moment.

Coneriver is doing his best raising Hickorykit! It's not easy, but she has seriously made a huge positive impact on his life. Even without Shadowspore there with him, he's still pushing forward to give Hickorykit the best possible life he can.
I'm glad to hear he's your favourite! I've had a blast writing him and exploring his character. He's actually one of my favourites to write! When I was first playing, I imagined him as a lot more vicious and brooding (since he has the bloodthirsty trait), but I'm very happy with where his character is now!
I am going to do all the rogues in Freeze and Minnie’s rogue group and if those rogues are alive or not as a few rogues were killed in battle. Also Freeze and Minnie are Buttercupshiver’s bio parents, and Buttercupshiver is the only character as of right now who is available for questions.
Guys, guess what! Buttercupshiver gotten another mate! Her name is Dolphinrock! So that means Buttercupshiver is in a ploy now! Also, just forgot to point this out but Pecan is related to Twigfalcon (Buttercupshiver’s other mate) so Poptooth and Sharkfade are the biological kits to Buttercupshiver by default. Also, Pecan isn’t the surrogate mother for Buttercupshiver and Twigfalcon because Pecan got spaded.
