All of these all-female litters made me think of it as just a default now.
Yep, he is a tom!! This is actually the second time I think that someone's told me they thought a male cat was female lol. I'm pretty sure the first time was Clovegleam!
I think Anisestone was actually part of the only litter that we've gotten so far that had mixed genders at birth!
There is actually a moon coming up where we get 2 litters and both are mixed gender!

Oh my goodness I can't believe we're already almost at 400 followers! Since this was so sudden, I don't think I'll be able to host a follower interactive event (ex: dtiys, character design), sorry everyone 😭
What I'm thinking is that when this blog reaches 400 followers, I think I'll start posting the founder's backstories, starting with Rootstar!
I think I'll post them on this blog, with a separate tag included! Backstory updates won't be prioritized over moon updates and they'll be more of a thing I can just work on from time to time!
Anyways, I'm just incredibly blown away by how far this blog has gotten! Thank you so much to everyone in the clangen community for your support, it means a lot! :D

Man I can't believe I'm already done with year 3...
This is probably a good time to say that there is a planned ending for MurkClan! It's a pretty bittersweet ending, but I think that fits the story pretty well :)
And with that, year 3 is done!! At least we have a happy moon to end it off :)
Also fun fact! I did play up to moon 36 on a completely separate clangen save for OtterClan. So Snowyspeckle (an OtterClan warrior) getting her ear torn was actually a thing that happened in the save!
Also also we're gonna get to see more of the other clans (specifically FlareClan) in year 4... 👀
