“You can speak to animals? And naturally at that, without any magical trinket or anything? How… peculiar.”
The Warlord stepped forward to tend to his feline warrior. He knelt down and gently ran a hand over the cat’s head, and as he looked over the cat it was clear it was injured.
“Though, it seems you were trying to do the noble thing and tend to its wounds. Though it really should have mentioned that it’s master could easily take care of that.”, he said as he glared at the feline, who recoiled in response.
“You needn’t worry about it anymore, so why don’t you scurry back to the palace where you belong?”
“Y-yes sir.”
As the stranger stepped forward she slowly took a few steps back to give him his space with his cat. Emerald green eyes remained focused on the cat even as she saw it recoil in the presence of its master after he stated what it should have mentioned, but when he suggested she scurry back to the palace she didn’t budge because well it was a little too late to do so as she spied Sandella flying through the trees not too far away nearing closer to her destination. As Sandella drew closer she noticed how entranced the big cat seemed to be to see such a creature as it gently landed on her shoulder. Her pet was delighted to see her very much as she rubbed her head against her cheek.
However when Sandella’s eyes landed on Chase her feathers did seem to glow a bit brighter as a warning, but she was very watchful of Chase none the less even as the princess made her request because for the moment she sensed something suspicious about him that her owner hadn’t fully realized just yet. Flying off her shoulder the bird cautiously landed next to the feline before lowering its head just enough to allow the man and a few of his cats to observe the quick healing powers of her tears. As the tears fell upon the cats wound the wound began to slowly heal itself almost like if it had never existed in the first place. Once her job was complete she flew back to rest on her owner’s shoulder almost glaring at Chase.
“Sorry about Sandella she normally doesn’t behave like this around people.”
