I'm a little bitter about the puzzle piece for autism. It had potential. It could have represented that the picture couldn't be complete without us. It could have represented an inherent place in the world for us and it doesn't. It had potential

There are definitely autistic people that do not experience what I'm about to say but I do so I'll say it.

It sucks to be naive and gullible because you don't understand everything that's going on like allistics do and you need someone else to explain it. That leaves so much opportunity for manipulation and I hate it.

Then an autistic person on TikTok will be like "don't explain things to me because I know more than you" like maybe but I don't and that makes me feel lesser than other autistic people
