1. What’s your favorite breakfast food?
My favorite breakfast food is French toast with butter and syrup!
2. If you were a politician, which issue would you tackle first in your country?
There’s honestly too many things on my mind right now as I’m American, so I can’t exactly pinpoint one particular issue. If I were a politician, I think I would first try to tackle the general issue of discrimination towards people of color, such as police brutality and immigration.
3. Favorite baked good (sweet and savory)?
If you’re from Southern California, you have probably heard of Porto’s Bakery. It is honestly the best bakery I have ever been to, no joke. Everything there is phenomenal, but my favorite sweet baked good from there is their cheese rolls, while my favorite savory baked good would have to be their potato balls. If you are from Southern California or ever visit, I highly recommend visiting one of their locations!
4. Guilty pleasure in music?
As someone who usually enjoys R&B, classical music, or chill alternative music, I have to say my guilty pleasure would be trap music. It’s so out of character for me, but I don’t know?? It’s just so much fun to listen to, I can’t help it.
5. If you were able to permanently be able to perform just one spell from the HP universe, which one would you choose? (let’s pretend we’re all out of Hogwarts already and can use magic outside of school)
6. Hairstyle you’d really like to have?
I would love to have a bob because it's just so cute and trendy, and I just love the look on others. But sadly my face shape doesn’t really suit the hairstyle so I won’t be making the cut anytime soon.
7. Favorite high-end makeup/clothing/accessory/whatever brand?
My absolute favorite high-end clothing brand is definitely Reformation! I just love their designs and how they’re so timeless. I also can’t complain about their ethical production and how their clothing is sustainable. It’s definitely on the lower-end of priciness, but for me, it’s still too expensive, so I’ll have to start saving up to buy pieces.
8. Something people assume about you that isn’t true, or something you are/can do that others don’t expect from you?
Everyone thinks I’m a film major or that I should be one! I’m not exactly sure why they think that, but someone once told me it’s because I, “give off that vibe”. I think it may have something to do with my obsession with films, the fact that I can edit pretty decently (if I do say so myself), and the fact that all my friends are film majors. So now that I think about, I completely understand why they think I’m a film major aha!
9. Favorite kind of chocolate?
My favorite kind of chocolate is dark with a sea salt caramel filling. The combination of bitter and sweet is to die for, and if you haven’t tried dark chocolate with sea salt caramel, I highly recommend it!
10. Favorite teacher or professor you’ve had and why they’re your fav?
My favorite teacher was my AP European History from high school! He was the funniest AND nicest teacher I have ever had in my entire educational career, and he really made me enjoy learning. Sometimes, when I had bad days, I would go into his class during lunch, and he’d let me sit, offer snacks, and tell jokes. I became a classics major (despite how little we covered Ancient Greece and Rome in AP Euro) because of how enthusiastically he covered the material.
11. Have you ever watched a movie just because a specific actress/actor was in it? if so, which one?
Honestly? No, I haven’t. I have way too little motivation to watch movies already (if you haven't noticed, I’m ridiculously lazy), so I wouldn’t watch a movie just for an actress/actor. I have thought about doing so, but uh, again never pushed myself to do it aha. Too much effort for too little reward, in my opinion.
Who is your favorite Greek god or goddess?
Which of Shakespeare’s plays is your favorite, or if you haven’t read his works, what is your favorite play in general?
What is something about yourself that you are proud of?
Stargazing in a meadow or cloud watching on a beach?
Wes Anderson or Edgar Wright?
How do you take your coffee? Do you have anything, in particular, to eat with it?
What motivates you most in life?
Who is your favorite historical figure and why?
What is your favorite novel that you were forced to read in school and why did you end up liking it?
Who is your favorite artist and how did you find out about them?
If you had an all-expense paid trip to anyplace and anytime in the world, where and when would you go?
