In The End ... it doesn’t even matter

“That’s fine, Mr. Wright!” Apollo had called out without looking up from his paperwork just as his boss had walked out the door.

However, when he heard the door shut behind the other, the young attorney had perked his head up, waiting for a few moments before standing and sauntering towards the sofa where the older man had left his signature blue jacket. After a quick look around, nimble fingers had grasped the soft material, soon pulling it forward to the brunet’s chest.

A smile immediately cracked over Apollo’s lips as he held the garment, eventually closing his eyes from sheer elation.

This definitely wasn’t the first time he’s done this. The first time he had actually tried the jacket on to simply fulfill a dream he had thought was long since dead. However, this motion, alongside the initial motive for it, eventually evolved into merely holding the jacket close to him.

“I see someone’s back to normal size…” came the younger’s dry response as he turned to face the other. Apollo was more than expecting this, hence why he tried to avoid Simon for the day. A lot of good that plan did.
