Come see me on Tuesday regular hours (6am to 2pm) for a limited menu of our Chick'n Biscuits and all of our sammiches including this divine Jerk Chick'n Sammich. We still only have limited power, so there's no ac and we may not yet get to do our Build A Bowls. We want to make sure at the very least you have our sammiches, though. The nuclear hurricane has passed us and once again we have been spared a catastrophic outcome. It went from a cat-5 down to a 1 and a last minute pitch to the east. Thankful that we made it through the storm-literally. But like everyone who has been getting ready for a week, packing precious belongings and safeguarding them from possible flooding, or damage from wind and weather, boarding windows and the worst of the worst-the anxiety and emotional toll of not letting your imagination take you to that dark scary place. We've survived the disaster. We are all exhausted, and in need of our normal routines again. So as tired as I am I scrawled this quick sketch as an Ode' to Irma....good riddance! #mariabrennanart #byebyeirma
