no i have a very lame common last name and i just like last year/earlier this year completed cycling through a half dozen pen names and settled on addams. however addams is permanent

UH it’s my favorite thing honestly. I actually wrote something and made a moodboard about it while back!

I think it would be a really incredible story line to have Will going through his trauma and like, having some natural PTSD mixing with the stress of the s3 summer. But while he’s heightened, he starts seeing the lights flicker and things blinking almost in sync with his own rising and falling heart rate and anxiety. At first, he’s like shitshitshitshit it’s back it remembers me. But slowly, it dawns on him that it’s too much of a coincidence. It’s way too much of a coincidence. Those lights aren’t flickering because something else is there with him; Will is that something else. He’s disturbing the environment with his own energy. He has THAT MUCH power. And it was a complete accident.

Suddenly all the scary things about Hawkins become nothing. Will can snap his fingers and blackout the entire town, or burst a nearby bulb and scare a few bullies. His powers are by no means under control but knowing what they are, and that Will isn’t being threatened-- he is the threat-- is empowering. Brenner’s hiding out in a building that is part of the Department of Energy... That’s right up Will’s alley and he isn’t taking it lightly. Or should he say, light-ly.

i just went and rewatched and the electricity is white-blue !!! it DOES look like the Origin of the electricity is some sirt of like circular thing but its hard to see

I do remember the circular thing. It appears to be some kind of machine they’ve constructed, maybe trying to reopen the gate themselves. But something goes terribly terribly wrong. If I had to guess, this happens the same night as the storm we see Will standing in.

I figured Will isn’t the cause of the accident, but as soon as something goes wrong and somehow lets the Mind Flayer back into their world to do crap, he feels it right away.
