A grin tugged at her lips at the suggestion and she nodded. “Mhm! That sounds like a great idea! We can pack lunches and make it a picnic!” She pressed her hands together as she moved to the kitchen. “Well, it’ll probably have to be sandwiches or something.. Ah! Maybe we could have a barbecue on the beach!” Though the moment the words tumbled from her lips, her cheeks flushed, feeling a bit self conscious about just how excited she was.

“O-or, wherever you want to go. T-that’s fine too, if you already had something in mind..!”

6. One of our muses brings home a kitten

Her eyes widened when she saw the small little ball of fur in his hands. He was awkward about it, almost embarrassed that she’d caught him. Maybe he’d thought she wouldn’t be home until later? Either way, she immediately closed in, causing him to tense--but her target was the little kitten he was cradling.

Her expression was soft as she gently scratched it under the chin, a tender smile tugging at her lips. “You know, I was just thinking it’d be nice to have a pet around here,” she giggled, leaning back, her smile widening as the kitten meowed, reaching out a tiny paw toward her as if it were asking for more attention.

Maybe he was expecting she’d say no, or that they couldn’t--but there was no way she could turn away something so cute. She smiled as she scratched the kitten behind the ear, glad she was able to control her power. “It’s so cute..”

“What should we name it? Oh, how about Homura? Like Homra!”
