I'm a little bit late on the studyblr challenge (oops) but that's because I spent my weekend training on driving, helping my mom and eating delicious things we made for my birthday celebration (no agglomeration, just my family).

My mom made me my favorite dish along with a really cute ocean decoration, I'm feeling so much loved 🥰🥰🥰

Day 6: Quickly! tag urself!

eight pm.  netflix. cuddles warm sheets. indoors life. loves singing but can’t. sweats. never sleeps.

I mean, ofc there were others tags I identify with (I'm looking at you, 10 am), but this one (oh this one!) really checks off everything.

I remember my last day before quarantine started last year: I was at a Karaoke bar with my friends and I asked my best friend to record me when it was my turn to go upstage. I sang with all my heart, and as soon as I got home (wich wasn’t really soon) I watched the videos and Oh God, I didn’t know it was possible to sing as off tune as I did SDKSHJSVBSJ

I’ve been listening to mostly kpop since 2016 actually, but lately I've been feeling nostalgic and remembering my favorite teen songs. Oh there’s also a brazilian song that has been on the rise lately and I can’t help but to sing along everytime I listen it on the radio 🎵🎶

Favorite musicians: Amy Winehouse is my everything n more; also love Mitski, The 1975, and Clairo!! Solange and Ariana Grande have my heart as well.

Favorite songs: Oh boy. I’m definitely forgetting some but off the top of my head: You Sent Me Flying by Amy Winehouse; Closer to You by Clairo; pete davidson by Ariana Grande (what can I say it’s my happy song); Strawberry Blond by Mitski; Wesley’s Theory by Kendrick Lamar.

Last film I watched: I’m in the middle of watching Knives Out again and it’s just as amazing as I remember.

Last TV show I watched: ... Supernatural. Am I trying to relive my 12 year old days? Yes, yes I am.

Favorite OC(s): Hm... my all-time favorite would probably be Minnie Goetz. I resonated with her a lot growing up as a teenager so she meant (and continues to mean) a lot to me. I could literally write a paper on how much she’s helped me. Other OC’s I love include Tina Belcher and the Babadook (who is in fact gay).

Sweet, savoury or spicy: Love sweet, love savoury, NEVER SPICY. My tolerance is so bad. Although I do love hot cheetos, those are literally my limit.

Sparkling water, tea or coffee: Coffee down to my core. Sparkling water is great though, I love carbonation.

Pets?: A dog and a cat! They get along weirdly well.

Taking a deep breath before diving into this ocean of complicated things called vectorial calculus 😤

Let me tell you about my finals (yeah, it's was a looong time ago).

Well, the last semester I enrolled in 5 disciplines (it's that how we say in english? Aaanyway...) and guys lemme tell you, it's been a looong way since I joined college, experience (aka too many fails) has always kept me from picking up many subjects, so I was used to sign on just 3 or 4 subjects.

That being said, can you imagine how was this semester for me??? Pretty stressful!! Burnouts!! Some learning (ugh online classes), new experiences (since my professors became allergic to regular exams), a lot of stress, and some surprises!

Guys, can you remember when I said I had trauma of Linear Algebra. Well, guess who passed with a B+ average??? Meeee

And did I told you I'm struggling with Calculus since... well... ever?? It was my 4th time doing Vector Calculus and folksssss, it wAs mY LAST TIME!!!! I DID IT!!! FINALLY, NO MORE CALCULUS FOR ME!!!

All the other 3 subjects went pretty well, I managed to increase my grade avarage, aaaand it was my 1st semester without failing any subject! So it was a really good semester!

~~~ Study tips:

Now, for real, I think it all went well because I accepted that I don't need to reach the perfection level for it to be good. I mean, perfection was the main reason why I gave up many times before, and now, accepting it can be good even tho it's not perfect, made me feel motivated to keep on going!

And other thing I learned and helped me relieve my anxiety is to focus on "right now". It's like, instead of thinking "Ok, I have 2 tests, 3 assigments and 1 project due the next week... AAAAAAHHH", think about what you can do RIGHT NOW, and let the things you can't for when you have time; eg: "Ok, I have many things due next week, but for now I can only study for this test, so that's what I'm doing".

Do not stress about things you aren't able to do, do not stress about things you cannot control!

Well, that's it for now. I hope this upcoming semester will be just as fine as the last one for me, and ofc I wish the best for everyone!!

Just a few things to study for tomorrow's exam................

It'll be the last exam for Transport Phenomenon, but I still have others subjects' exams in this week.

Luckily, it'll end soon since it's the last week of uni classes. Until then, fighting!!

These days you’ll see me posting a lot about Calculus, because I’m going to have my first exam next monday so I’m dedicating myself to Calculus whenever I can. It’s a lot to study, but everything is easier with my kitten around ♥
