President Russell M. Nelson spoke today at the Marriott Center on Brigham Young University campus. He wanted to speak specifically to the young people about five truths that he felt impressed to share with them. He invites all people to listen.
Truth:
1. You are sons and daughters of God.
2. Truth is truth.
3. God loves every one of us with perfect love.
4. The Lord Jesus Christ...appoints prophets and apostles to communicate His love and to teach His laws.
5. You may know for yourself what is true and what is not by learning to discern the whisperings of the Spirit.

“Remember, perfection is a lifelong journey, not just a single event” -Elder Ballard at the #byudevo on 11/14/17
Testifico, como outros, que nosso Pai Celestial não só responde orações, mas às vezes escolhe controlar pequenos detalhes de Seu reino. Isso também faz parte de Sua natureza divina. #quoteoftheday #byudevo

Friends, this is a talk I have been waiting to hear for YEARS, without even realizing it. There are so many beautiful principles touched upon, but most significant to me as I listened today were themes of making the Gospel personal, seeking a stable center for our lives, and the necessity of learning by the Spirit (but I promise, it is MUCH more profound and inspiring than that summary makes it sound!!).
I highly encourage you all to listen or watch when you get a chance!
If you truly believe in the Atonement of Jesus Christ, you have to believe that people can change. If you don't believe a person can change, then you don't believe in the Atonement.
Blake E. Peterson (”Do We Really Believe?” May 2016)
The restoration of the fullness of the gospel was not just a restoration of the rules, it was a restoration of the reasons.
