when c!tubbo comes back to c!ranboo's house he sees him sat on the floor playing with michael, slightly bent over to allow him to braid his hair.
c!tubbo's heart stops as he remembers those braids brushing his cheek whenever c!tubbo was brave enough to ask if he could cry on his shoulder.
his stomach turns because now he looks off, there's dried blood on his chest and his skin looks almost translucent. michael smiles and giggles still braiding, ghostboo looks at c!tubbo's eyes with wonder and care, it makes c!tubbo sick
c!tubbo wants to punch him because those eyes are not his, they do not belong in a dead vessel. they belong in his memories, and his heart only.
instead, he walks up to michael, kneels down and hugs him. michael hugs him back and ghostboo stares at the tears running from c!tubbo's eyes to michael's overalls.
his son is safe and that is all that matters now, his husband offers a hand and c!tubbo wants to scream at him. he leans into his touch and when he feels warmth from such cold hands he cries harder.
do you think tubbo will see boo and how hes so much happier now and how shes constantly talking about how dying was the happiest shes been and think that ranboo wasn't actually happy with him. do you think tubbo will think that ranboo never actually loved them. i mean no one could actually love him right? they must have faked it out of pity. or maybe he accidently pressured her into it or maybe it was all just a joke, just a big prank that they were gonna reveal and go ha gotcha I never loved you, I mean who could, it was so obvious right! I mean come on why would someone like Ranboo actually like him, it must have been fake.
