When I say "c!Puffychu deserved more" I don't mean they deserved to have the wedding.
I mean they deserved to have angst moments. I mean other characters deserved to know about this relationship forming and how their conflicts got in the way of that. They deserved to reconcile but take things slow because they were both still healing.
I mean they deserved to have a falling out over each others actions during and after Doomsday, and no I'm not just talking about Niki trying to kill Tommy. From Puffy's perspective, Niki ghosted her and everyone, never contacting her until the Red Banquet. From Niki's perspective, this protective but positive woman she fell for has become increasingly angry, betrayed by her closest friends, and worn down by this ongoing war with a cult.
And through all of that, they deserved to remain engaged and that never changing. Still wearing the engagement rings through everything.
They deserved to have a complex relationship that was shown, not just said or in between the lines. c!Puffychu deserved more.
it’s so easy to forget how disgraceful it was to ship dsmp characters back in the day. like even mention the possibility of cbeeduo being /rom and ur crucified. if u suggested that ctntduo had romantic and sexual tension then u were CANCELLED and deemed a WEIRDO. cpuffychu was just girls being besties and they totally don’t kiss eachother on the lips and ✂️. EVERYONE IS JUST PLATONIC NO GAY ROMANCE HERE
