“Oh, I definitely can set you up with one of the copies of the new children’s book from the publisher’s. It should be coming out in about two weeks,” Anna replied, taking a drink from her champagne, slightly longer than usual, but slightly glad to talk about the book.

Everything was on Alec’s mind today. The quidditch game, his mother. Today was the eleventh and he couldn’t get anything out of his head. So, in an attempt to calm himself down from all the craziness happening lately, he tried in one of the only ways he knew how, dancing.
When he saw someone enter, he stopped. He walked over and stopped the music, breathing heavy. “Hey, uh, I can leave.”

Kris had anxiously been awaiting the birth of @xhello-adelex ‘s daughter. Kris and Adele had spawned a great friendship. When Adele had asked Kris to be a godmother to her new baby she was overwhelmed and thankful. Kris had been waiting for a text or a phone call for a few days. She had already talked to Adele a few days before about her voice and cancellation of her concerts and she knew that she was upset. So when she received the text with the picture of Penelope from Adele she was overwhelmed with excitement.
When Kris was finally able to get over to Adele’s she was so excited that she could barely contain herself. She stood at the door and waited for the door to be answered. Kris had gotten a gift for the baby and Angelo, along for Simon and Adele. She stood almost bouncing with excitement to finally meet the baby, and see her friend again.
