"Damon, is there a reason you risked your life to come here." She asked, walking up behind him. "You should be relieved it was me who found you and not my sister Freya."

No warning was necessary once he’d found Damon. Not even a word uttered as Enzo grabbed his old ‘friend’ by the collar and corned him before then throwing a punch in full force not caring for the fragile state that the former vampire was in.

A familiar face was a welcome sight in the midst of a group of friendly alumnae. Val had already, against better judgment, lied twice about what university she attended that night. “So how many more drinks until we can truly convince them all we’re one of them?” she asked Damon as she picked up her refilled vodka tonic. “Or should we just scream ‘Oxford rules’ and run out of here with all the alcohol we can grab?”
Since getting herself a phone to replace the one lost between getting taken, one of the first things she did after getting all of her contacts back was to contact Damon. A simple message to meet at the Boarding House. She wanted to see for herself that this was all for something. She had been told that the rescue had been successful but she wanted to see with her own eyes that it had because until she saw Damon she wouldn’t believe it. Once the sun was down, she made her way to the Boarding House and just stood at the door, staring ahead. All of this started here in this spot. The first time she came to Mystic Falls looking for answers about her real family. Everything had happened from this point forward and the weight of that hit hard. It felt like a lifetime ago now and in some sick joke, it was a lifetime ago. She finally gained enough sense of reality to knock on the door.

Talking to compelled men was rather tiresome so when she spotted a certain Salvatore come in to the proximity, she patted the compelled guy to take a seat and moved over to Damon. “If it isn’t my favourite New Yorker not from New York.” She grinned. “You look a little rough. Care for a bite?”

Olivier had forgone his usual sport jacket, and with it the harness he normally wore underneath that held his two pieces and a knife. Despite the chill, he still stuck it out in just button-up and a light jacket, making every crevice and pocket of his outfit visible. He knew Damon had bodyguards and he didn’t want them to be worried he might try to pull on a gun on the man. He was simply there for a chat, unarmed...mostly. The gold-plated brass knuckles he’d had for years and years were always in his jacket or pant pocket for easy access, but that was such a part of his normal attire that he hadn’t even thought about it until he was already standing outside Damon’s office building.
He waited for a bit, checking his phone quickly now and then or sitting on a bench with his arms crossed. When he did spot the man, he got up from the bench and started to approach the man with quick, long strides. “Damon!” he called out, attempting to sound jovial but his expression and volume didn't quite allow it.
Leaning on the arm of the sofa the elder Salvatore was occupying, she held out the glass of bourbon that was currently in her grasp for him to take. Not that she would lose sleep if he didn’t take it. “Missed me, I assume?” Katherine barely spent the majority of her time in Mystic Falls anymore, even with Klaus’s sudden disappearance from the town--- that allowed her free rein, despite everything that had gone down, she still had things to do and people to kill. // @formerpsychokiller
Clearly, Isabela had been enjoying herself at the bar when she noticed a face across the crowd. A certain vampire she hadn’t seen in a good 30 years almost. Using her vampire speed to appear behind him, she smiled. “If it isn’t my favourite New York vampire...” Without giving him chance to turn around, she sped back to her seat across the room - waiting for his reaction... hoping she’d moved fast enough not to get caught by him.
