With the first day of class looming closer, the college professor decided he needed a little bit of fun before his freedom was taken away from him for another eight months. So Professor Henery found himself in a crowd full of twenty-somethings in a dimly lit club downtown. The music didn’t exactly fit his tastes, but he was drunk enough to enjoy it. Being on the dancefloor, moving his body to the beat, with enough drinks in his system, he didn’t have a care in the world. Just for tonight, he didn’t have any responsibilities.
Before long, Rolph felt a little more sober than he wanted to be. He threaded his way through the dancefloor, towards the bar. That was when he saw her standing there. He debated within himself for a second if he should approach her, after the night they had spent together days ago. Maybe he wasn’t as sober as he thought, as it didn’t take too long for him to find the courage to walk up to the blonde woman. “Hey there, stranger,” he grinned at her. “Can I buy you a drink?” he offered, running his teeth through his lower lip.
