Cass wasn’t entirely sure why he’d reached out to Chance earlier that day, or why he agreed to hang out with him, maybe he was just tired of fighting with someone that had honestly been his best friend at one point. All he knew was that he was climbing the stairs to Chance’s apartment, knocking on his door, and wondering what the hell was going to happen between them. He took note that he was also going to Chance’s parents and not his apartment, which he found pretty strange. Finally he knocked on the door, running a hand through his hair and rocking on his heels as he awaited the door being opened.

Dustin admittedly felt bad that he had run into Chance in the dark, even though it wasn’t necessarily his fault that it had happened- especially without his glasses. Regardless, it wasn’t a good feeling to have run into the guy he was dating, and after the paramedics had tended to them both, he figured he should check if he was okay. Approaching him once they had stopped fussing over his hand and deemed it was alright, he gave Chance a little smile and a wave, ruffling his black curls. “Hey...” he greeted as he came closer, his eyes wandering over the man’s temple and wincing to himself. Ouch. That must have hurt like a bitch, and it only made Dustin’s guilt grow inside of his chest. “Oh, damn- I’m really sorry about that. I didn’t mean to run into you. I think you had the worse end of it, unfortunately,” he said as he raised his bandaged hand with a faint smile, leaning in and pressing a kiss to his cheek decidedly. It was the least he could do for him, try and show his affection in some way or another, cautiously taking his hand, unsure if the intimacy was alright with the other man right now. “Uh, I guess we’re kinda stuck here for a bit- they’ve told us to stay off the roads, stay inside and shit. We might as well take a seat. You feeling okay?”
Roman had debated about this for a while- since Figsey had left, really,- and he thought it was finally time. Heart thundering in his chest, he took a deep breath before rapping on the door of his ex’s place, waiting in a ball of nerves and anticipation.
