First Family Photo
So the picture above is our first photo taken as a “family” after Logan was born. Now I’m not usually the type to go back and look at pictures for no reason, but dang it, here lately I’ve been wanting another one of these!!
The issue with wanting another baby is that I’m not even sure if I could carry another child full term. I had so many complications during the…

Positive Unplanned C-Section Birth Story
I haven’t posted on this site in a little while now and the reason is because I’ve been busy with a new baby! I now have a three month old son, Felix, who was born in early October. I really am lucky to have such an amazing fiancé. Whenever people talk about my pre-baby body or me going back to the gym to tighten up my "flabby" tummy, he interrupts them ALWAYS and tells them my body is perfect or I don't need to lose weight or get back to my prebaby body/size because I'm beautiful. Not to mention, I'm still recovering from surgery. I've felt really good about my stomach even with my new scar addition, I don't need people pushing the gym at me lol
A gentle, family centered c-section birth in photos
by Melissa Willets posted in Mom Stories "When it comes to birth there seems to be an understanding that if you birth in the hospital it will be medicated and out of your control. If you choose to birth with a midwife you must do it unmedicated and at a birthing center or your own home. The... Read more » Want to get the full story? Click on the headline above.
