first off, let me just say that I missed you. silly, but I look forwards to your messages. It kinda sucks that we have to communicate this way but I understand why.

that’s a wise decision, I wonder how many friend/partnerships have ended because of the Rainbow Road…

and I’m free pretty much all the time right now (the job market sucks and no one wants to hire a secretary without any experience, although if I was a superhero my superpower would be organization and collating, lol) so just see when you have a day off and you don’t think the world’ll need saving and I’m game! there are some nice beaches downtown so if  we want one mostly to ourselves we could try one of them.

I’ll be watching the next time when something’s going on then and wait for you flexing. And I can understand the crazy fans (believe me I can) so yes, it’s better if people don’t know who I am. Besides, why not troll the media while we’re at it and give them something to speculate on? ^-^

Some forms are a little weird, like, we either we once had an issue with man-eating dolphins, or Fury's just well-prepared. Retro is putting it nicely, but I'm glad someone else likes it. It's my first suit so I'll always kinda have a soft spot for it. Like my arms, do you? I'll try for some extra flexing next time press is around. As for mobility, ain't that much different. At first I would’ve said that Fury somehow likes to be prepared, but with everything that’s over the last few years maybe there really was a problem with man-eating dolphins. Although wouldn’t that be more of a concern for Aquaman and the Justice League than SHIELD?

Date #2 then! (although if we wait for date #1 much longer the beaches’ll be closed for the season, unless Tony lets us borrow a jet so we can go somewhere warm for the day. just kidding.)

I can understand not wanting to get rid of your first suit, it was the original and there’s something special about that. I still have my baby blanket in my closet, there’s just something comforting about knowing it’s there. And the extra flexing might make all the Hawkeye fans swoon a little (me included) but it’ll be very much appreciated. :)

I just had an image of Hank rage quitting in the middle of the arcade and that made me laugh a little. I’d hate to see his reaction if the team ever played Mario Cart and someone blue shelled him.

It\s actually not the first time, so there's already forms for it. Just gotta fill them in, get them stamped and you're done for the night. Good, 'cause no one needs that image in their mind. Minus the mask, huh. Well, I still have it, buried in my SHIELD trunk somewhere. I ain't played a game in ages, kicked Antman's butt in the arcade last time though. Good times. Doom is a pushover. But, you know, I don't think anything can convince me otherwise that this is a damn good decision. -C. Barton

I guess it shouldn’t surprise me that SHIELD already has a form for that, but it kinda does, but it’s nice to know that you weren’t up all night filling in boxes. Yeah…I kinda like the retro costume, but your current one is my favorite-more modern and it looks easier for you to move around in. Plus you have nice arms ;)

It’s nice to know you kicked Hank’s butt at the arcade (not his biggest fan but whatever, the guy’s smart). The next time you have a day or so off maybe I can get you in front of a game and we can laugh at how bad we are.

I'm so sorry for not having called or anything! Got sucked into another dimension, which ain't as insane as it sounds. I'm a real dick over there, God. And his costume is worse than my first one. Nice to know I'm universally designed to have poor outfit taste. I hope nothing bad happened while I was away. If so, gimme their names and I'll pay them a little nighttime visit. Getting sucked into another dimension sounds crazy (well at least to one who hasn’t experienced it) but I’m glad you’re okay. The paperwork must of been crazy once you got back. And I don’t want to know how bad the other Clint’s costume was if it was worse than your first one, which I’m kinda partial to-minus the mask, lol. Things were quite on my end as well, occupying myself by playing video games and laughing at how bad I am them. 

And honestly I thought that either Doctor Doom or someone decided to try and take over the world again or you realized what a horrible decision you’d made and ran for the hills…lol

Did you get my last message? Apparently a few of my last messages last night never came through by people. I'm blaming Stark 'cause he hooked JARVIS up to SHIELD's system again. But, yeah, in case it didn't, my reply to the most important part: Black Forest cake. Tasha knows this baker who makes the best one and I once spent an entire week eating it for dinner (I was on a stake-out, I swear I normally eat actual food) What's your favourite season? I really like Autumn, nice and brisk -C. Barton.

nope I didn’t get your message, JARVIS or Tumblr must of ate it. Stark loves to cause chaos doesn’t he? I can’t really blame JARVIS since that voice just makes you smile (at least it does for me and my friends) and Tony’s the man behind the curtain, lol. 

I’ve never had Black Forest cake before…it sounds really good and not at all healthy for you. I’ll have to make it sometime (I like to bake/cook a bit-nothing fancy like you see on TV or in bakery’s just regular stuff) to give it a try. 

As for favorite season…I’d have to say Winter since I love when it snows and you can just turn off the lights and look at the snow. Plus everything gets nice a quiet when it’s snowing. Also since I live in the Midwest I’ve grown up with it snowing and don’t feel like it’s really winter unless it snows. Plus you can warm up with a nice fire or hot tea after shoveling/playing in the snow.

Great! Pick a day and I'll take it off. Quirks, huh. I probably have a few of them I guess. And, you know, I don't really go online too much so I'm not sure how accurate the stuff they have on me is, but you're free to ask what you want. That's part of dating. Getting to know eachother. You really know how to sweet talk a guy, almost blushing here. I'm a top operative, Hill wishes she could catch me. I think we all have quirks (some more than others) and that’s what makes us different and adorable-like drinking right out of the coffee pot ;D 

and thanks, I know that somethings can be a bit touchy with people but if you can’t get comfortable with someone then why bother trying to really get to know them right? But at the same time I respect boundaries that someone sets-if you don’t want to talk about something then I’ll find something else to talk about. Plus you still make me blush as well, so call it even? hahaha. From what I’ve read about you it’s just stuff about you pre-shield so I don’t know how reliable that is…and of course everyone ships you and Natasha together but IMO it’s because the two of you compliment each other so well and have known each other for a long time.

Okay so question time. What’s your favorite kind of cake? Cheesecake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream is my weakness (besides awesome archers that is hehehe).

And if you hadn’t been able to MacGyver a paper bow/arrow set I would’ve wondered if it was really you (just kidding). Plus Hill is another badass woman who I admire so I would’ve been surprised if she hadn’t caught you. Next time you might want to try paper footballs so you don’t get found out so easily.

So it's a date then? Awesome. International man of mystery sounds pretty cool. But there's really not that much mystery about me, I mean, half my life can be found online on a gazillion websites. The other half, well, I'll tell you all that when we crack open that case of beer on the beach. Oh yeah, I can pull it off, but I feel like I'm auditioning for Men In Black most the time. I’m sure there’s plenty of mystery about you-little quirks and stuff like that. Plus you can’t believe everything you read on the internet, you know how people like to embellish stuff. But I’m looking forwards to the beer on the beach, just talking and forgetting about life for awhile. And to me you look hot in a suit, even if you feel like a MIB in it.

It really doesn’t surprise me that you did that (I had a feeling you might) while in the meeting. Hopefully Hill/Fury/whomever wasn’t too mad when they caught you (if they caught you).

Stark does, but he's still an ass most the time. That's good to know, no heights. Instead of the airport, then how about riding to the beach? Picnic on the sand as the sun sets. Too cheesy, or just right? You wouldn't let me leave, really? For all you know I look like an overgrown monkey when I put on a suit, sure you want that around all the time? Horse riding and a picnic on the beach watching the sun set sounds just right. Just as long as we can have a few beers as well ;)

And I’m sure you can pull off a suit, mister international man of mystery. Even if you don’t wear a three piece, I’m sure you look good with a jacket (IMO any guy can pull off a blazer/jacket given the right colors/style).
