C.C.’s Spring Reflection

Spring…

A season humans seem to adore.

Flowers bloom, the air softens, and people gather beneath drifting petals as if they’ve discovered something profound. To them, it’s a symbol of renewal… of hope.

I’ve seen it countless times.

Seasons come and go, repeating their quiet cycle without hesitation. Spring returns, again and again, as if nothing has changed… even when everything has.

That’s what makes it curious.

Humans treat it as something special, even though it’s temporary. The blossoms fall within days, yet they celebrate them as if they were eternal.

…Perhaps that is the point.

I once thought eternity was something to be desired—something absolute, unchanging. But as I watch these fleeting petals scatter in the wind, I begin to understand something different.

There is meaning in what does not last.

The warmth of the sun, the softness of the breeze, the quiet laughter of people beneath the trees… these moments are insignificant in the scale of time.

And yet… they linger.

Even for someone like me.

Spring does not change the world.

But it changes how people feel about it.

And perhaps… that is enough.

Heh… humans really are strange.

But… not entirely uninteresting.
