This weekend had many highlights, from selling over 50 copies (a new high!) to enjoying times with friends, getting support from old friends and new fans/followers, I had a very successful weekend. Even the travel situation, as expensive as it was, was a learning experience that will help me bring my costs down on the next trip. Thank you everyone who came through and found #AReasontoSmile! I got to see @oheysteenz today at @C2e2 (go buy her stuff, it's so fun!) and we got to talking about what we bring to comic cons. I have a set amount but never expect to sell any. Every single sale to me is a blessing and I am extremely appreciative of every person who decides to leave 10 or 20 dollars at my table to take home one of my creations. Seeing people happy after experiencing my book is extremely validating and continues to motivate me to make more stories. As much as I hope my stories get picked up by a publisher, I am fully prepared to continue making comics, my way, until you all stop buying them. Thank you to every single person and family who decided that my stories are needed on their lives.
