c2e89 is so great, definitely my comfort episode and one of all-time favs (as someone who watched all 3 campaigns and pretty much all of smaller scale CR content). It's one of those episodes that have feels and fights and backstory and humour and What the Fuck and in general sound like a fever dream when you think about them later.

We've got lore dumps about history of Empire and gods! Jester Sending shenanigans! Fight club! We meet Astrid! Jester wants to spend a lovely time with Fjord (*cough cough* workout date) but Travis rolls a nat 1!! Beau beats the shit out of an old man! Fjord's Not Good Very Bad Day continues as a paladin crits on him, dealings 90 points of damage in one hit! Ashley intimidates the fuck out of everyone (the horror in everyone's eyes *chef's kiss*)! Caduceus and his bone flute! Nott steals a bunch of hats!

So many good moment in c2e89 (Caleb's meeting with Astrid, Beau and Jester's conversation about Jester overstepping boundaries by contacting Beau's dad, Jester and Fjord's disastrous workout session, Yasha’s incredible champion pit fight) but the highlight of the episode is absolutely Cad in the background just going ham with his new bone flute lmao.
