i h8 lucien so much b/c that scene of mollymauk bursting into his friends hotel room still in that 'can walk and string words together but still a little fuzzy' post-climax stage offering fruit and boasting is full of life and love and embracing of pleasure

but lucien is all cool and calm talking is full of pain and death and seeking power its all suffering and darkness

coming from the same place but suchhh different vibes
