Did Thjazi let Occtis join the plan because this mfker got into the info line and found out they were planning Occtis’ death and is why he had no problem with sending him away to get the box tomb with Thaisha for several weeks of travel literal weeks before they were both murdered by the same people

Thjazi Fang tried to protect Occtis by not telling him how much danger he was in, in the literal same way Hal’s family is in danger because Thjazi kept him out of the loop. Interesting how there’s a theme about how hiding the truth from your loved ones no matter your intention of protecting them brings about a different type of danger they aren’t expecting when you aren’t there more or less “protecting them”

Thjazi was executed. Thimble clung to life. Occtis murdered. Thaisha barely survived. Hal has to pick up arms and become a warrior. Cyd got kidnapped. House Royce has fallen, as has their Vassal Davinos.
