Desmond had meant to see Adrian after buying him at the auction, but then he’d caught sight of Lettie. Of course he’d rushed after her, distracted by the need to talk to her about what exactly had gone done with her and her bidding when he’d gotten onto that stage. Then there had been the chaos of the arrests, and before he knew it he had missed his chance to talk to the man he’d ended up with. This was why he’d shown up at the Dive, though it was once again looking dilapidated after the ATF’s rifling through it. Still, he supposed this was convenient in that he might eavesdrop a little in addition to seeing Adrian. Desmond had tried to get here at the end of Adrian’s set, hopefully to find the man on a break or something of that sort. “Hey- it’s me, Desmond.” He was feeling...perhaps a little awkward. How did one begin a conversation with someone they’d bought a date with? Not that he intended it to be a real date by any stretch of the imagination. “I’ve seen you around a little. And I ah- bought you at the auction.” Perhaps it was an old habit, reintroducing himself multiple times. In highschool he’d had to constantly do it, being rather invisible back then.
