hallie hadn’t quite expected the program to be as it had been the past few days. she was used to hard work, there hadn’t been much in her life that had come easily, but between the heat, the jet lag, and her work assignments, she wouldn’t try to deny the exhaustion. perhaps that’s why when she sees her sister for the first time in over four years half of her is convinced she’s just overtired, that maybe the heat’s gotten to her head. but the longer that she stares, the more she’s unable to deny the way that taila’s features can be found on the other’s face. and despite the time that has passed, she knows without a doubt that the young woman is her baby sister. she doesn’t know how it’s possible that they’re both here, but there’s no denying it. “kimmy,” the childhood nickname slips from her lips, her tone even, despite the rising feeling in her chest.
Daisy was supposed to be waiting by the float for the parade to start, but a crowd was starting to form and a tipsy Daisy couldn’t help but want to be where the people were. She made her way through the excited people holding a rainbow jello shot in each hand until she spotted a familiar redhead. “Kim!” She called out happily. “Hey! It’s good to see you! How are you? Do you want a jello shot?” She asked, offering one out to her friend. “I made ‘em myself honey, so you know they’re good.”

“I figured you’d need a pick me up to keep you going for the day,” Mickey slid the coffee to Kim with an eyebrow wiggle. “Are you sure you can’t take like just a beat for an hour, stretch your legs out for a little bit before you gotta go and be detective extraordinaire?”

“Kiiiim! Thanks so much for coming!” Apollo smiled as he greeted his friend. “What I tell you about that red velvet, ehhhh ehhhh??!” He chuckled. “It was like biting into heaven. Really, it was so good, I hope you take a few slices home.”

Tigger had been bouncing along the pathway, jamming along to one of his favorite songs. It was a great day so far and things were honestly just looking up for the young lad. That was until he had knocked into a familiar redhead. “Oh my goodness! My apologies! Are you alright?”

Zack walked around the hotel holding up his phone speaking to it when he ran into Kim. He smiled slightly his eyes scanning her body. He moved his eyes back to her face and smiled slightly knowing that she had seen him. at the girl and then spoke with a smirk “Fancy seeing you here. Such a weird coincidence that we’re both here at the same hotel.” He looked back at the camera that he was still filming on, and pointed it towards the girl for a moment, and then back to himself. ”Guys, I think I have a stalker I swear I see her everywhere.” He looked around the hall, and then spoke to the girl with a slight smirk on his face “Do you have any idea of shit to do around here cause I am bored as fuck.”
