You walked up beside T’Challa, who was clad in his Black Panther armor. You had been recruited by Steve to help keep an eye on Bucky in case someone found out where they were holding him and you agreed on the spot. Not only were you given the chance to stay in such a beautiful country such as Wakanda, but you also had access to all of the latest technology and the staff was more than friendly.
But now someone had found out where Bucky was being held and wanted to make a show of it instead of trying to get an audience with the King.
“The Captain never did explain to me what your abilities are,” T’Challa said from beside you and you sent him a sly grin.
“Eh, you’ll find out in a minute. Just try to keep up.” As soon as the doors blasted open, you broke out into a run before leaping into the air, your body morphing into giant, white black-spotted cat, more formally known as a snow leopard. You rammed into the first three men that burst through the blast in the wall, claws extended as you bared your teeth and narrowed your eyes.
The men clearly weren’t expecting to be facing off a predator.
T’Challa had hesitated in his advance, wishing someone had told you can shapeshift. It was something crucial to know in times like this. He quickly let his shock subside, however, before joining in on the action, and in no time the facility was once again secured and you shifted back into your human form.
“Switching back with clothes took a little time to perfect, but I am so glad I took the time to learn that or this could be super awkward.”
“I was starting to think I had seen it all after the airport, but I see now that it was only the beginning,” he said, sliding his helmet off. You laughed, nodding.
“Yeah, definitely. I heard there’s a talking tree out there - crazy, right?”
