Okay having Many Thoughts (tm) but I think while its easy for all of us to kinda make fun of the scene where Frak explains Oni and Lloyd just stands by while he calls them inherently evil and whatnot, for me it personally shows something else

I’d already had this thought since season 1 when they were at the Temple of the Dragon Cores, which is that Lloyd doesn’t go to any length to tell them much unless he has to/ that he even actively hides the stuff that could be seen as “bad”

My assumption why he does this? to avoid getting hurt, someone using it against him, or judging him for it.

Harumi did it, Garmadon did it, the Overlord too. My dude knows there is no way it would be safe to go about telling everyone (or just accidentally the wrong person) he’s the grandson of god and part dragon AND oni in a chaotically dangerous world as the merged lands.

(That and saying he’s part oni/ making them sound “not that bad” would have probably raised some alarm bells in, yk, the middle of a dragonian village.)

Geo stuff because I miss him and I’m salty about a lack of backstory so I’m putting him through my own backstory regiment instead: Misery

+ A vague timeline because I realized maybe making a solid ref for myself is… not that bad of an idea

- Geo’s hair getting dyed dark is like, to remove him from looking “too geckle” (I know that they don’t have hair shush) and they didn’t let him cut it because why would they?

- The reason why Geo is actually really strong is not only because of his genetics (the Munce side, I suppose) but also because he has literally been doing that for a long period of his life. I might make some more stuff that has to do with his backstory (and I’d love to hear what other people’s ideas are!!).

But the gist is. to me, Geo has come a long way to where he is when we actually first see him in DR.

Mad that they removed seemingly every trace of Misako do you know how badly I want to see her interact with Arin so they can bond over being spinjitsu-doers without elemental powers. Off to make five billion hcs now goodbye

For no reason in particular I just came up with the hc that, in the future, if Lloyd’s visions ever stop, he still gets immense anxiety and panic attacks from just headaches (eg. From something as simple as weather changes) , because he’s come to associate them with the horrible visions from dr season 2.

I keep thinking about Crossroads culture since it’s a mix of so many different ones, but what I like to imagine most is them having a big ass memorial or graveyard plaque with names on them: A remembrance for all those that died in the Merge or have gone missing and have not been found again. To vaguely quote episode 1 “The Merge gave me everything I have” “and it took everything from me”

#1 CEO of Mystaké but where the Mystaké headcanons at

Damn, you’re right. I’m a disappointment to all CEO-hood 😔😔 Here’s a bunch that I came up with laying awake thinking about this

- She babysat Wu and Garmadon a bunch at their home & taught them many swear words (much to the FSM’s dismay)

- The teashop idea came from a joke the FSM made once that with how much tea they both drink they should make a business out of it. Mystaké took it to heart after his passing.

- Her old woman form comes from the first person she ever saw in the realm of Ninjago (this resulted in there being a brief period of time where two of the same person were walking out and about)

- There’s also various other alter egos that she’s collected over the years, from common folks to copying celebrities (which she didn’t know were celebrities until it was too late)

- And my favorite alter ego hc is that she’s actually the Lightning Chicken because I’m still in denial and I think it makes certain scenes a thousand times better (Wu knows about this)
