Meeting in the Flesh, a cosy horror-romance-themed game, has officially launched! 

This is the complete version of the game we released as a demo back in 2017!

In this game you play Vil, the resident of a strange but friendly little city, encountering various people and getting the chance to court one of three different monstrous suitors:

Yiestol is the kind and diligent type. He takes his work pretty seriously, but still makes the time to maintain friendly relationships with people.

With Brattan, what you see is what you get. He’s very friendly and maybe a little too affectionate, but it’s hard to be mad since he always means well.

Nyargh comes across as a little intimidating to a lot of people. However, he has a patient and caring side that becomes obvious to people who earn his trust.

Meeting in the Flesh is available for absolutely free! In addition, a simple ‘Thank You Booklet’ is available to anyone who donates $2 or more, as a show of our appreciation. It contains a small collection of rough sketches, progress shots, and unused versions of artwork from the game.

We're thrilled to finally be able to release the free demo for our romance-horror visual novel, Meeting in the Flesh!

This is a pre-alpha build version of the game that will bring you through most of the first two days of the game! It's enough time to get to know the characters, see some of the world, and make a few choices up to the branching storylines!

Introducing Meeting in the Flesh!

Meeting in the Flesh is a free small-scale horror/romance visual novel. You play Vil, the resident of a strange but friendly little city, encountering various people and getting the chance to court one of three different monstrous suitors. Though the game will include some body horror imagery, the game is a romance at its core, with a focus on getting to know and growing closer to your partner. 

A demo version will release on October 31, Halloween, so please look forward to it! We’ll be posting previews of the suitors over the next few days. 

Meeting in the Flesh is made by Fal (cacoethic) and Miru (inktrashing). We’re both very excited to be working on this project, and are doing our best to create an enjoyable experience! As fans of horror settings and romance-focused visual novels, we wanted to combine these genres to create a unique game that will cater to those with similar tastes.

Valentine’s Day Horror Stream

It’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to spend it than streaming a horror game with your best friend.

On this day for commemorating all things romantic we are going to play In the Gravewood. We will spend our time reveling in death, corpses, trauma, body horror, parasitic familiarity, and bugs. Probably lots of bugs. 

If you want a slightly different flavor to your day come on over to Twitch and join us. We will be starting at 5:30 PM MST (about one hour from posting) and continuing until the game ends.

We will be commentating, voice acting, analyzing, and potentially getting a little spooked along the way.

It’s a custom color that we mix with blond and red, since I don’t really like most pink dyes. I tend to think it comes out looking pretty natural, if pink hair can be ‘natural’.
