our theater didn’t get subs for the “aishitemasu" line either! i feel like it was kinda more sweet that way since context made it pretty obvious what she was saying, maybe???

HAHAH UGH YEAH but also on some level i def feel like it was a shoutout to the asians in the audience who'd be like OHHH SHIT YO

i think even with subs, it doesn't get the full implication across though, which makes me really smug AND IM AN ELITIST DICK IM SORRY OKAY like i love that even if you didn't get subs, yeah it was clear what she was saying but knowing a bit of jp there's just like... A WHOLE NOTHER LAYER TO IT that's kind of really cool, aaaaaaaaahhhh
