The short answer is napping.

The long answer is a busy busy weekend, one that started out great with parkour lessons with Cronus on Saturday and spiraled rather quickly on Sunday when you thought too hard and figured out that the only reason your doomed timeline lasted as long as it did was probably to dump you out into real timespace again to play Sparks's game.

That... was not an easy thing to realize.

Most of Sunday was lost to tears and locking yourself away, until a name you rarely see showed up on Trollian: Rev's Karkat. You had a banked sparring session with him; what better way to beat depression than with actual fists?

This was both the best and worst idea you've ever had.

You're still not sure how long it went on, but by the end of it, you'd gathered a cheering crowd and a shitton of injuries. You'd started out with a fistfight, but it had escalated quickly into weapons until you disarmed him with a twist of your blades, and you went back to fists and claws. The rather brutal fight that followed involved your punchdaggers getting ripped out of your hands and tossed rather literally into bystanders, and culminated in an uppercut that blacked you out. At least you tore him a few new ones before a liberal application of metal fist to skull ended the fight.

You would've been proud of holding your own for so long if you weren't busy spending the rest of Sunday and most of Monday unconscious.

Who are you kidding, you were when you woke up. Right after decking Karkat since he was the first person you saw, and then realizing that no, you weren't in the fight anymore, you were in the medical wing, and that fucking hurt.

The rest of Monday and Tuesday was spent trying to convince Feferi that you were fine and asking if you can leave yet. The answer was a frustrating no every time, since concussions are apparently a big deal or something. You don't understand why, you were fine. You were only 90% bruise, all of your various slashes had been stitched or had stopped bleeding on their own, and the uppercut that'd finished you off? Whatever, you've had worse.

Finally, she cleared you to go home, and that's where you head, limping a little and sore as fuck, but home all the same, with a smug sense of satisfaction and your troubles chased away for the moment at least.
