in DESPERATE search of Freaky Flyers fans who I can ramble to for ages about this game. I've been a fan for years and it's come back into my brain with a VENGENACE.
Cactus Rose!
We are really rockin with the IDW characters lately aren't we? Anyways, this is Cactus Rose! She's an Abada, which from what little I could find online, seems to be an african unicorn-adjacent species! I kept her extreme lithness and the two horns (though i did adjust placement of the secondary horn). I also changed her patterns and cutie mark slightly, as well as making her mane more pointy and cactus like!
Cactus Rose was one of Zecora's best friends growing up, and she has a unique power to speak with plants! She's also the wielder of Generosity, in the Farasian version of the elements- Farasia being the country Zecora is originally from.
There's this whole thing with multiple elements of harmony sets, but I'm not gonna get into that right now. Cactus Rose is very sweet, and probably the one that's been pen pals with Zecora the most consistently, even with the zebra's move to Equestria.

M.O. Constance of Varonvale
The uncommon mix of a Myrmidon and Goblin, Constance felt quite isolated growing up, but her feelings of loneliness didn’t stop her quiet but noble desire to help others. When she was of age, she apprenticed under an Arcane Myrmidon physician and learned to use her Wood magic to enchant herbs and make potions. Constance now helps her former teacher as a medical officer of the 52nd Platoon.
Despite her unsociable nature and permanently grumpy face, Constance is very kind to those in need. Coming from a complicated background herself, she has a gentle, understanding nature for people in underprivileged situations. Her wife Linette, who she met through her service on the Platoon, is a bright, cheery personality that effectively balances out Constance's tense aura.

I was intimidated at first, because I felt Con’s old bio sheet aged really well... but I feel like her redesign has more of a story to it now. It was challenging getting the red uniform to compliment well with her old silhouette, but I think I like it better this way!
