NEW YOUTH ATTACK RECORDS DROP!!! It’s a very good day to be a hardcore punk fan. There’s 8 new releases that came out today, they’re all absolutely crazy (it’s youth attack did you expect anything else?) I don’t have the energy to break all of them down so here are the ones I like the most.

LIFE SUPPORT - BORROWED TIME EP

This is a project between James Trejo and Mr. Youth Attack himself, Mark McCoy. this is their second EP, on the last one James handled all the instruments and Mark did vocals so I’m assuming it’s the same here. This shit is fast heavy and super blown out.

PSYCHOPATH - SIEGE MENTALITY

Three song ep by PSYCHOPATH from Houston, Texas. Once Again, this is some super mean, heavy blown out fast hardcore.

CADAVER DOG - BRED TO FIGHT

James Trejos solo project. I have been big on all the CADAVER DOG stuff that’s come out previously but this blows the rest of that out of the water. They’ve been putting out music since like 2012 I think and somehow this is the rawest release from them yet. Blown out fast hardcore (notice a trend?)

MANGLED STATE - LEARN TO SUFFER

I don’t have a lot to say about this one, besides this might be the best powerviolence record I’ve heard in a very long time. This shit is SICK as fuck.

A and B have been separated from the team for days but just as the team begins to give up hope of ever finding them, A stumbles through the door alone. They're battered, bruised, and a hair's breadth from breaking but they're alive.

Their eyes are wild and they won't say a word. They don't seem to process any of what's going on around them -- whatever's going on in their head has won out over any external input. The team fires off questions that A doesn't seem to notice.

'What happened?'

'Are you okay?'

'Where's B?'

They get a pretty solid answer to that last one when the team's cadaver dog runs up to A and immediately gives a final response.

These women deploy their dogs across Iowa as volunteers, assisting police in searches for the missing and the dead. Their goal: Bring home the lost.
