Okay so I've had to block four bots this morning! All across my blogs! What the hell gives? Can these things like seriously not?!

Women can't be sexist since they are not the majority. Sexism is a form of oppression and only the majority can opprese a minority.

That is a blind way of thinking, anon. A very blind way of thinking. Heres the thing: anyone can hate anyone for any number of reasons. Some are good reasons. Some are bad.

Hating someone for their genitals is a bad reason to hate someone. Skin color is also a very bad reason to hate someone. Its superficial and insignificant. The human spirit will never be free until we realize what we are and of course what we arent.

We are not our genders.

We are not our skin colors.

We are not our culture.

We are not our genitals.

We are not our sexualities.

We are not our beliefs.

We are human.

We are flawed.

We are bound to make mistakes.

We are imperfect.

Those are the only truths that humanity needs to realize. This finite life we live is too short to waste it on hating other people for insufficient or unfounded reasons. So dont waste this one life you have on ridiculous bullshit that in the end wont matter. In the end, everyone's equal when they're dead.

Yep. So congrats, I'm done with fandoms all the fuck together. I dont mind talking with individuals but I'll no longer engage in anymore fandom bullshit. I no longer care about causes. I no longer give a shit about social issues in media. You are all toxic. You are all disgusting. You are all hypocritical. You dont let anybody enjoy anything from concepts to characters, and you treat writers like shit because they make a few poor decisions. Because you care sooooo goddamn much about everyone's little fee-fees, nobody, and I truly do mean NOBODY is allowed to be fucking creative anymore. And that's why you all arent getting any new original content! Because you all are too busy bitching and posting about how everything is racist, sexist, homophobic or what the fuck ever! You stifle creativity, you disrespect content creators when they dont make stuff the way YOU want, and you dont appreciate a damn fucking thing you're given! You fight over stupid meaningless bullshit that doesnt fucking matter. And god fucking forbid anyone dares disagree with you, you call them every kind bs -ist and -phobia there is!

Yeah well you all can finally stop posting and bitching about how "oh theres no new content anymore! I'm sick of remakes and shiiiit!" Because you damn well know why you arent getting any new stuff. It's you SJW keyboard warrior shitheads who are scaring off, or are scared of, any new or original ideas and concepts because you're blinded by your own sense of self righteousness and victim complexes that you dont wanna step outside the echo chamber and THINK for your own goddamn self!

As for this blog, I'm going back to just being an rp blog. Yep I'm fully bringing back Cadence. I also have a species I've made up for star wars and I might revamp one of my older side blogs for that. But this one is going to be dedicated to caddy and her adventures. I dont mind talking to individual people and make plots or even just to chat as long as you're respectful of me and my decision. What I will not be doing is engaging with wider fandom issues. I will not be listening to drama, I will not stay up to date on issues unless they effect this blog in any way shape or form. Please be respectful of me and my decision. Dont let my rant throw you off, i do my best to be courteous but this was a long time coming I think. That being said I just wanna clean my hands of this bs and try to have some fun on this like I used to. If you wanna plot with me, my DMs are open.

Because humanity decides to be fucking stupid I need to return to the wonderful world of a fandom I am beginning to consider myself no longer a part of...fun.

Hello game of thrones fandom, apparently I need to come back to you because I am once again getting swamped with bs that I really shouldnt care about but is becoming almost impossible to ignore.

First off why are you all still dwelling on this bullshit? The show is over, and the next book probably wont be out for another twenty years or so (insert eye roll). I think it's time for everyone to move the hell on. There are more important things to be angry about in the world right now. Are all you bastards so bored, or so lifeless that you have to dwell on a fictional show that no longer means anything?

Second: I've been particularly hit with posts that basically pin Sansa fans against Dany fans. I am so fucking sick of seeing these goddamn posts saying that if you like Sansa you're every kind of -ist and-phobia there is. Theres seriously no middle ground with these people and I dont get it. I dont agree with how Sansa was written in the final season along with the other characters, but liking a character doesnt make you racist. It's getting to be bullshit and I'm beginning to feel awful for people who like both dany and Sansa for different reasons. I will admit, I was a total dany stan and for a short while I hated Sansa for how she was in the final season. But i realized my anger shouldnt be going to the characters, their actors, or their fans. The characters arent real. The actors were only doing their jobs. And fans just have this weird ass pack mentality that I'm beginning to think is incredibly harmful. My anger lies squarely with the writers, DB Weiss and David Benioff. Which brings me to my next point.

Third: I'm actually beginning to feel sorry for these two. Yeah, an unpopular here, but news flash: YOUR GENDER AND/OR RACE DOES NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM CORRELATE WITH YOUR WRITING ABILITY!!!!!!

Stop calling them racist/sexist because they're two white guys who made terrible writing decisions. I know some of you especially point to the death of missandei as proof of their racism/sexism. Yeah, I can see why it could be interpreted this way, and to a degree it's even agreeable. But I also know that this is also a very toxic way of thinking. It leads to very toxic thinking. I've seriously seen entire posts about how white men cant write women or people of color correctly because of these two. Well...what the fuck is correctly? Are we seriously about to condemn every white male author just because of the terrible writing decisions they made regarding their characters of color? What about white women who write colored characters, because I'm a white woman writing a book in which the main character is a black man and if this is how I'm going to be received, then that's bullshit. I refuse to be condemned because of the actions of two guys who seriously need to work on their writing. Hindsight is a bitch, and they shouldve known that killing missandei off in the way that they did wouldve led to terrible consequences. Theres no excuse for it, but theres no need to condemn them forever and a day for it because a year has just about gone by since the ending of GoT and nothing has changed, and I dont think it's going to matter ten years down the road either when a potential remake of the show could be on the table because hollywood is now out of ideas. On to my next point.

Fourth: these characters are not toys. They're characters. They exist, or maybe its existed because the shows over yet the books arent, to tell a story and literally nothing else. They don't exist to push an agenda. They dont exist for you to fight over them and make ridiculous and unfounded claims about others you may not like. And yet what am I, someone who isolates herself from the fandom specifically because of this toxic nonsense, seeing? Supposed fans bickering, arguing, and bitching at one another, pitting these fictional characters against one another like toys on a playground being controlled by entitled, spoiled children who dont fucking appreciate them. You can love more than one character for more than one reason. Like people, these characters are flawed, and you, you spoiled brats, need to accept that. Liking sansa doesnt make you racist, and shitting on dany just because shes dany makes you look like an asshole. You dont have to like the same characters, but you sure as hell have no right to call someone horrible things just because they like a character you cant stand. Let people love the characters they love and dislike the characters they dislike. Neither of these concepts require justification from either side of the fence, since liking a character is a matter of preference and is highly subjective.

Finally: just fucking let people enjoy things. Like seriously, the world is going to hell in a handbasket bad enough. People deserve to like what they like without being labeled something they arent. I happen to love both Dany and Sansa, and I really wish they had been written better and gotten along. But I've also long since accepted that wasnt what happened and moved on. If someone doesnt like dany but likes Sansa, fine. Let them. If someone likes Dany and doesnt like Sansa, that's fine too. They dont need to justify why they like one and not the other to you, and you as an individual have no right to cast judgement on someone just because they like a character you personally find problematic. If you have nothing nice to say then just dont say anything at all. Or better yet, compliment them on something else. The world just needs more accepting and open minded/hearted individuals.

Be kind. Be compassionate. And for fucks sake, just be respectful of peoples likes and dislikes.

So I saw joker and I have some thoughts

Let me start by saying that I dont hate this movie. I dont think it glorifies violence or mental illness or whatever. Do I think someone could draw inspiration from it? Sure. But it's not something I care to think about. People are gonna do bad things for the sake of doing bad things. Human nature deep down doesnt give a shit about what's right or wrong.

That being said, I liked the overall look of this movie. I liked the acting. I really loved the soundtrack and would love to add it to my collection. Now let's get into the things I didnt like.

Basically just about everything else. I cant be the only one who thought this movie was boring as all hell. Like there was no real story here. A dude descends into madness due to society being shit to him. Okay? We see this all the goddamn time, I mean look who's in the damn White House right now (its 2019 as I write this). Seriously though political bs aside, what's new here? If you wanna see shit like this, just turn on the goddamn news. This movie did not need to be made. It was expertly made, but it was so goddamn unnecessary. We already know the world sucks, and that's not why we go to movies. We dont go to movies to be reminded of how shit the world is. We go to movies to forget it, to be taken away from it. At least that's what I do anyway. And even then, I've seen this before. Hell to some degree I lived it. Maybe that's why I'm so nonchalant about it.

Yeah I've seen the whole society breaks someones brain nonsense before. It's called Neurotically Yours aka Foamy the Squirrel. Yeah, a web cartoon about a wannabe poet/author with a fast talking, truth spitting, and spiteful society hating squirrel did this a lot better but it didnt beat you over the head with how shit the world is. Sure, Neurotically Yours took years to get to the point of society breaking the main characters brain, but at least it did it in a far more entertaining and, partially due to foamy's rants in between episodes, insightful and comedic way. That's what Joker shouldve been, at least to some degree, and it wasnt. At all. There was nothing new here.

It even had the whole identity crisis via parentage bullshit. This is the part that I've actually lived. I was like "for real? You're gonna go there? Okay let's go there" and again i was just so numb to it because I've already lived through it. There was literally nothing for me in this movie. It's like sitting through lecture of bs that I already know: rich people suck, they dont care about us, life is hard, empathy is important, and blah blah blah. Weve seen this before. We LIVE this every. Fucking. Day. And this movie can spit it back in our faces all it wants but that doesnt make it good. It doesnt change anything.

So yeah I'm not singing this movie's praises because theres nothing really to sing in my opinion. I hope Joaquin Phoenix gets awards for this because he did an astounding job. But all in all theres no reason for this movie to exist in my opinion. At the end all I could feel was numb and nonchalant about the whole thing.

We get it, society sucks, especially for the mentally ill, oppressed, etc.

I think I've realized what I hate most about this site...

Amidst all the James Gunn stuff, I've come to realize that people on this site only seem to believe in redemption for fictional characters. But god forbid one person fucks up royal (and I will admit it was a huge fuck up) and they can't move past it. They're not allowed to. If they aren't, then what is the point of growth? What is the point in trying? Why can we forgive fictional characters but not real people? I don't understand it. Is it because they dont exist? Must be. I dont know, but it doesnt sit well with me. People want their favorite characters, heroes and villains alike, to grow and flourish in their worlds but we cant seem to let real people grow in this world. Why? Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture?

So I watched oppy's live stream last night...

And it opened my eyes to a lot of things. I'm honestly heartbroken and hurt over what my favorite fandom has become. I've only been involved in the SCP fandom for a few years now, starting my tumblr only about...eh...roughly three years ago-ish. I cant remember off the top of my head but anyway...

I hadnt been on the actual scp site in a while, and even then I only went for the articles rather than the public forums and all that (I tend to avoid those because that's where toxic people rear their ugly heads). But what I saw when she showed viewers what was going on was just...cringey at the least, self destructive at the worst.

I told her that people have a right to feel safe in fandoms. If people are leaving because they're afraid of being discriminated against or blocked for having different views, YOU HAVE A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM! A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS FIXING! NOW!!!!!

Personally, I dont give a shit what logo or what the fuck ever it is you use for pride month, that's not my problem. My problem is that most of the mods have become whiny little bitches who block people completely just because their POV is different from theirs. And to those mods, fuck you with a barbed wire dildo. You're acting like a bunch of immature little brats who cant handle when someone from your group has a different view on something. Wasnt this fandom built on diversity? Where is it now?! Gone. All gone because you fuckers decided to block everyone with a different view.

I get it, hate speech cant be tolerated. By all means, block them or do whatever the hell it is you do. But to block someone because they dont agree with you is pitiful. Oh and dont get me started on the attitude people have about the other site. You people are hoping it fails, all the while not looking at the problems on your side of things! You fail to see your own shortcomings and it hurts a lot of people. You have twisted it into something I no longer recognize, which makes me feel like a failure. I'm a nothing, a nobody in this fandom, I know. But all it takes is a little common sense (which thankfully SOMEONE had) to see that when people are wishing for other people to fail at something because they see the other side is falling apart, there's a problem.

Everyone has a right to feel safe.

Everyone has a point of view and a right to their own opinion.

Political and social bullshit should have no place in this fandom, except as being played symbolically in some of the SCP files and maybe a tale or two. It never shouldve happened and we all need to find a common ground here to try and fix this problem.

I want MY fandom back. I want my friends to keep making content. I want to see them all succeed. Is that really too much to ask? I dont know too many people and I'm sorry if I touched some people's nerves but...I love this fandom. I want to see it flourish again.

Is that all far too much to ask for?

They're saying apparently Christmas is discriminatory in Canada, at least that's what the title says. Well, I actually found the article and read it myself. It was about how it's not fair that some religious holidays get off work while other religions have to ask for their holidays off, which no they shouldn't have to ask. A religious holiday is a religious holiday. You don't have to be a part of the religion to just enjoy an extra day off. Like seriously, you could possibly get paid time off if they let all religious holidays off.

What is he even complaining about?! Gods...it's called reading comprehension and reasoning. I love him, but I swear he's not the brightest bulb in the box....
