IDARE ULALLY

1. The color of their eyes.

Bright robin's-egg blue.

2. How old they are.

He's a couple years younger than Cae'Sera, hovering around 29 somewhere?

3. One strange thing/quirk/defining characteristic of their body or physical appearance.

I'm tempted to just write "infuriatingly handsome" but I suppose I'll elaborate: Idare goes through life with a warm, friendly, low chuckle and a knowing trollish grin.  He's lean and muscular with a charmingly bent nose and thick eyebrows that are usually waggling at you about some stupid wonky pun he just made.  He is an ass.

4. One strange thing/quirk/defining characteristic of their personality

Puns and relentless innuendos hiding secret kinslaying angst.  Here, how's this: he will flirt with literally anyone.  I have jokingly referred to him as omnisexual.

5. How their parents met.

Being Sith Commanders and murdering people I guess.  Or maybe at a Sith party (while murdering people).  Basically there was murder before matrimony.

6. Who their first love was, and why they loved them

Teenage hunk Idare started banging teen hoebag Quirin Corvus because Rin was known as a SUPER LOYAL IMPERIAL and Idare hoped this association would make him seem like less of a lightside traitor who just sent his weak-in-the-force younger brother to the Jedi. This backfired majorly when Idare and Rin fell into dorky young love.  Idare had to leave Rin when he was apprenticed to a high ranking darth and taken away from Korriban; he had no outside contact without his master's approval for two years, effectively ending his romance with Quirin.

7. How/why I came up with the concept for them

I had no idea how I was going to manage playing a sith and then they gave me so many stupid lightside joke options.

8. Who they eventually end up with

Cae'Sera Lalelius, who is everything he dreamed of and never believed possible, really.   She's beauty and grace and kindness and humor and he adores her, pure and simple.  They defect together, marry, have three red children, make stupid puns, and he becomes Mr. Mom while she's the foremost Xenozoologist at the Corellian Zoo. 

9. Their favorite animal.

He meets a LOT of fantastic animals because of his wife, but his favorite is his riding varactyl, Parsnip.

He eyed the plant cautiously, though of course he did his best not to show it.  Not in front of a pretty red stranger. 

"It’s, ah… very handsome." 

To his immense satisfaction, the pureblood girl gave him a surprised, genuine smile. 

"He is, isn’t he?" she replied, stroking along the leaf folds below the toothy mouth of the carnivorous flora.  "I’m so glad. Most of our guests don’t realize."

Idare glanced over at his brother hiding among the less aggressive greenery.  Asheraav seemed quietly content, for once, away from the looming adults inside; most of them sith, all of them terrifying.  It put Idare’s mind at ease to see him resting under the stars in the garden. 

"Yes, well," he said, putting his hands on his hips and sticking his chest out slightly.  "I’m not your average guest."  He grinned broadly.

"Mmm," she replied, her gold eyes almost glowing in the dark of the garden.  "That is one way to describe you, yes."

Idare frowned in mock offense.  The sith girl laughed as he made a show of pouting and folding his arms.  “Fine!  I see how it is!  No room in your heart for anything but handsome plants and charming beasts!”

He turned away with a huff.  Behind him, he heard the happy burbling of the plant creature as his new friend stroked its petals.

"I think you’re underestimating the size of my heart."

Idare blinked in surprise.  Something in the gentleness of her voice struck him.  It even made him flush.  As the warmth rose in his cheeks, he was suddenly grateful to be facing away from her.

Sera, Rev, and Maiet ran Boarding Party/Foundry last night- I've somehow  and by somehow I mean a lot of bad PUGs that fell apart halfway through one of the other managed not to previously see them.

The importance of context occured to me. The Jedi prisoner's situation seems urgent, or at least unusual Pub-side, regardless of how you feel about him or the stuff that comes out of his mouth. Impside, though? "Oh, so you've been leashed to some great evil for the last handful of centuries, you're free now, and you're arming for an apocalyptic final confrontation? Sir, here in the Empire we call that 'polite dinner conversation.'"

Also, here's a fun fact to chew on: Revan's droids are programmed to detect and destroy any being with Red Sith ancestry, which turns out to include about 98% of the Imperial population. Now, assuming "Imperial" isn't taken to mean something weaselly like "people who are native to the Dromund system", one thing to know is that the Empire as it is during the Second Great Galactic War? Didn't exist 35-40 years ago. The majority of those worlds were unaligned or Republic-loyal. So the stats for Sith blood quantum in the Core of Republic space? Probably similar-to-identical.
