[Setting: Field]

Milites Soldier: Guwahhh!! Rubrum Soldier: Haha, amazing. That was amazing, Zhuyu! Zhuyu: I see... I guess. Rubrum Soldier: That's totally what I'd expect from a Vermilion Bird l'Cie. You make the Militesi army look like trash. Zhuyu: This is the role assigned to me by the Crystal. Nothing more, nothing less. Rubrum Soldier: Oh come on, I'm trying to compliment you! The least you could do is smile a little. Zhuyu: I'm moving to the next battlefield. Take care. Rubrum Soldier: Wh- Hey, Zhuyu! Wait--! Rubrum Soldier: ...That guy's changed. Damn! What a lameass.

Rubrum Soldier: Hey, dumbass... What do you think you're saying?! We still have men here! Zhuyu: You're... Rubrum Soldier: Hey, since when... Chapter 4, Act 5 L'Cie Caetuna Steps Up

Thanks to the cadets' efforts and Zhuyu's sacrifice, the White Tiger l'Cie Nimbus was finally taken out.

However, the damage caused by Nimbus was immense. The Dominion legion lost more than half of its troops.

To widen the disparity, Milites begins to advance. Though Rubrum was still locked in a difficult situation...

At that time, the one remaining Vermilion Bird l'Cie stepped forward to suggest their last resort.

Commandant: Lady Caetuna...! You want us to summon the Verboten Eidolon?! Caetuna: That is correct. Such is my intention, for it is the will of the Crystal.
