The Chemex pour over coffee method is a simple and elegant way to make clean, crisp coffee. A Chemex pour over coffee maker, a filter, freshly roasted coffee beans, and hot water are required.
Instructions: Rinse the filter with hot water to preheat the Chemex. Grind the coffee beans until they are medium-coarse. Fill the filter halfway with ground coffee. Pour 100g of hot water over the coffee and wait 30 seconds for it to bloom. Pour the remaining hot water over the coffee in a circular motion, taking care not to pour too much in one spot. Allow about 4-5 minutes for the coffee to finish dripping through the filter. Discard the used filter and coffee grounds, and then enjoy your Chemex pour over coffee.
