A Fair Exchange {Elise and Mistel}
Elise was dead on her feet, and furious. Who on earth left buying a Valentine's gift until Valentine's himself!? Both of the damned islands apparently. Between the four of them and Lloyd, they'd barely had the shop covered for half the morning. It was only during a precious 'quiet' lull that Elise simply told Mistel he was coming to Arcadia after their shift together.
Elise laced her hand around his, glad for it on the long walk. "I hope you've brought me something nice for Valentine's!" She pouted, hoping he might be unaware she was laying it on thick, just a tad for effect. She'd brought him the best damned Valentine's gift, and gift in general.
In what seemed like a world away now, with different names and less feelings, her dearest admitted to wanting a shop, to sell antiques. And so she had decided that's what she'd get him.
How on earth she'd managed to hide a shop, his name on the front door, she had no idea. But hopefully he should love it. "If not I'm afraid it'll be very expensive to buy me all the chocolate to make up for it."
