Aranea leaned her head on his shoulder, a sly smirk playing over her lips as she toyed with a few of his stray lavender locks. "Caius darling..I was wondering, would you be interested in coming to training practice with me?"

She wasn't going to tell him that the kids were going to be there or that they would have a minor audience. But this was her somewhat weak attempt to show their children that they could do more than playfully toss insults at one another.

He laughed. It wasn’t the most appropriate way of response. But it was the most accurate. Accurate without betraying too much of the hearts desire. It was no funny topic they discussed. Just an ironic one. The question was one that walked hand in hand with the simple one he still struggled with: What do you want? It was a mystery to him that anyone would know the answer to that question.

What could be done to achieve his goals?

“To become something else. To become something different. To defy my nature and give into the softer side of my soul. Something more attune to the beauty of this world rather than an aggressive front forever fighting against the grain of it. I seek the impossible against all logic.” It was like.... commanding the stone wall to crumble and expecting that it would do just that without waver. Some things just... WERE.

They were not changing them.

@burnteyes: personally, i’d LOVE to have snow or fang or, fuck me running, sazh. anyone, really. the few of the fandom that are still around are all amazing and i think i speak for all of us when i say that we’d love to see anyone who might tickle your fancy!

@lazuliss & @caiiius: i feel like the only character who has the potential to consistently have people writing them is light, because SE has a hard-on for her ( not that i’m complaining xD ) and puts her in everything they can. and obviously i think lightning is fantastic and i always love seeing other portrayals ( i only follow a few because i’m so hesitant about following dupes? not because of me, but i know some people are VERY not cool with following the same muse as their own, and that’s totally understandable ), but EVERYONE ELSE IN THE TRILOGY IS SO GREAT TOO?! even if i didn’t love a character at first, they all have grown on me to absurd degrees. like, give them love, people.

We haven’t been mutuals long but I’ve seen your threads so far, and I love how you interpret Lulu. I may also be bias since I always loved her from FFX haha, but you do her absolute justice. She’s always had such a dark charm to her. I love it ;v;

Through your portrayal of Lulu I feel her essence flowing and pouring very easily while I read her dialogue and your descriptions/tellings for her. She has this wonderful coolness and elegance about her and she has this….wit and tame wisdom sass is what I remember when we had together. I truly enjoy seeing that you love this woman. It shows alot.

OutOfDolls:- You guys... honestly this has made my entire day, thank you! I was honestly nervous about coming back after my absence as I genuinely thought no one had noticed or even cared, but this has shown to me that people do enjoy seeing me on the dash just as much as I enjoy being here!

Though Yeul had a vast amount of knowledge when it came to time and divine matters; there were still some things that were basic knowledge that she lacked. As of late, she had seen many couples in loving hand-in-hand embraces, even showing signs of public affection -- which she was often nudged to relocate by her guardian’s hand. In the mist of passing these couples, she would hear various phrases that would leave her..questioning for an explanation for their meaning.

It was due to this curiosity that she built up the courage to inquire Caius during an evening when they stopped at a tea house. Sitting in a private booth, she looked at her cup for a moment before gazing at him with a serious expression. “Caius...what, pray tell, is sex..and why are couples these days obsessed with it?” @caiiius

But there’s a shred of home which exists, a past long gone, which calls him to the desolate temple. How unsurprising for him to encounter his mentor here, where memories and wishes sleep. Remnants of what once was.
