Was planning on just doing a quick sketch of one of my dragons, ended up making an entire drawing, whoops.

Anyways here’s Cairnstone she’s the general of the Sunstrike Canyons and she will beat your ass for fun

Sayyyy hello to General Pebbles Cairnstone, a fae who has dedicated years of her life to Earth’s dominance battle legion, but is now retired.

She has many scars from her countless fights, such as being blind in one eye after a Light battle, and having to get her wings amputated after a Fire Dragon burned the webbing down to nothing, but she is still quite formidable.

Despite no longer living in Dragonhome, she’s still kept her pledge to the Earthshaker strong, and refuses to work for anything that might help other flight’s dominance. She does accept jobs as a bodyguard and other things that require battle experience, which led her to be the second in command of my clan.

The clan leader, Selachi, an Earth Gaoler, is happy to have Cairnstone join her side in battles, and if anyone tries to say anything about having a Fae as a general then.... needless to say, they’re going to have the bare minimum of 27 broken bones.

Day 48 of my 100 Days of National Parks photo series celebrating the #centennial of the @nationalparkservice with this shot of the Cairns along the Joint Trail in the Needles District of @canyonlandsnps I love cairns, mostly from my experience wandering (and getting lost) along the slick rock trails of Canyonlands National Park. This "Cairnstone Village," as I like to refer to it, is one of the highlights of the Joint Trail, and features hundreds of cairns in a variety of sizes, tucked away in random spots, lining the trail like creepy little villagers, silently watching as you walk past.
