Just watched the backrooms movie in theatres. I'm very happy with their interpretation of the backrooms, I was scared they would do the black squiggle monsters commonly seen in backrooms videos (no hate to those, love them, but they aren't that scary to me and it sometimes feels out of place) or they would do what I hate most with a lot of backrooms media and give it floors and layers to map out when its much scarier to have this endless unmappable jumbled expanse.

All around very happy with the styleization, effects, and just everything. I would definitely reccomend it- it does really great in the scene and effects department and I'm pretty sure almost everything is practical.

I left the movie feeling all giddy and tingley, which doesn't happen much with movies for me. So yeah peak
