It was the first time I've ever seen a #Mikiphone and it was really interesting! @theretrofactorysg has a wonderful collection of different types of #Gramophones ranging from pocket size to those gigantic ones with horns. Amazing. A few are on display today, Sat May 6th at the #SingaporeHeritageFestival Festival Village Flea Market at #CaldecottHill . "Mikiphone, a pocket-sized phonograph. An estimated 100,000 to 180,000 of these mini-music players were manufactured between 1924 and 1927 in Switzerland. Unlike our modern music devices, the Mikiphone had no batteries, relying instead on a hand-crank for power.
