Christine Pelosie was giving a presentation to the #Internet & #technology board at the #caldems earlier this month about a conversation she had with the Facebook cofounder. during her talk she mentions how #Facebook has the #technology to slow down and filter the information that hate groups spread however Facebook is unwilling to act. Christine Pelosie goes on to say that as an #advocate she believes that all of the social media platform should be designated public utilities which gives the State and federal government more power to actually regulate them.
