Everyone else was out at the beach, but me and my best friend Jack decided to stay at home and play basketball. We were just messing around since I’m not that good.
“Ok, 5 bucks says I make this shot with one hand on one foot.” He said.
“I can make that, no deal.” I said shaking my head.
“You really think you can?” He asked with a cocky smirk plastered on his face.
“I know I can. Pass me the ball.” I said. He passed the ball and I grabbed it. I made the shot and he slowly clapped.
“I’m impressed. Here.” He said handing me a five dollar bill.
“Thank you very much.” I said smiling widely at him. I slide the money in my back pocket. He grabbed the ball and walked to the other side of the court near the fence.
“Okay, hot shot. I bet I can make this shot. Backwards, one hand, from over here.” He said.
“Ok, fine.” I said. I slide the money out of my pocket and set it on the table.
“No, we aren’t betting for money this time.” He said looking at me.
“What are we betting for?” I asked.
“Anything we want.” He said, smliking at me.
“Ok, hold on. What do you mean by anything?” I asked, leaning onto the table I stood by.
“Well, in moderation.” He said making me laugh.
He turned around and leaning back to see the hoop. He grabbed the ball with one hand and made the shot. I laughed thinking he didn’t make it, then I heard the ‘swoosh’ of the net. I turned around surprised.
“Wow, nice. I didn’t really think you’d make it to be honest” I said walking towards the net. I beant over to grab the ball and I leaned my back in the pole. Jack walked towards me smiling.
“So what do you get?” I asked, handing him the ball.
He took the ball and threw it to the side. He licked his lips and walked closer to me. He grabbed my hips and pulled me to him. His lips were suddenly on mine. I was shocked but I liked it. I kissed back, and our lips moved together slowly but passionately. I let my fingers run through his hair before he pulled away. He leant his forehead on mine and kept his eyes closed before laughing. I smiled at him.
“I’m glad you made the basket.” I said just above a whisper. He smiled at me.
“Me too.”
