It always seems the hardest when you finally have something substantial written, but there are fics out there that update maybe once a year, and people are fine with that. A few months of waiting isn't going to kill anyone, but the self guilt in writing taking that long may feel like it. We all love your work and that's why we wait, so do us all a favor and don't be too harsh on yourself because you think we deserve better.

I know this was a while ago in RVB, but I just got to South Dakotas death. What do you think about her death? Just overall feelings in general.
There was a post circulating a while ago about how Delta’s suggestion to Wash sounded like a manipulative order. “We should not allow her to hamper our progress” is the famous line leading up to her death. And coming from an entity who’s supposed to be pure logic, I found it interesting how sadistic that was. Seeing as this was the girl who shot Wash in the back, then ran away with him after he and Wash trusted her enough to cover them, I think the decision to kill her wasn’t rational at all, but emotional. I think it shows how much Delta is “viewing life from a flawed perspective” (the “flaw” being emotion). I think she deserved it. She killed her brother. Had she decided to help North fight the Meta, they both could’ve stopped him before he became a problem. South and North were both above Maine on the leaderboard and Maine had no armor enhancements at the time. But she chickened out and shot her fucking twin in the back. I think it’s sad. Because she was manipulated the whole time. Delta says that one experiment of PFL was to give one agent an AI and not give the other and “see what would happen.” She was manipulated and turned against her own brother and the only times she reacted out of prediction were to put herself in even more trouble. Fuck South. But also, poor, poor South... she deserved better. But she deserved everything she got.
