callaboy and callagirl !
so, in the vein of rosboy and azurgirl, i came up with a gender neutral equivalent, where you’re a gender neutral boy or a gender neutral girl. i call it: callaboy and callagirl, for how gender-neutral the calla lily looks, color wise.
here are the definitions, also inspired by @neopronouns!
callaboy: a gender neutral boy; someone who considers themselves a boy and has some significant connection to gender neutrality, either in gender or expression; a neutral-aligned boy; an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a boy and gender neutral.
callagirl: a gender neutral girl; someone who considers themselves a girl and has some significant connection to gender neutrality, either in gender or expression; a neutral-aligned girl; an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a girl and gender neutral.
you don’t have to have any specific qualifications to be a callaboy or a callagirl as long as you identify as a boy or boy adjacent person who’s gender is significantly gender neutral in the case of a callaboy, or a girl who’s gender is significantly gender neutral in the case of a callagirl. you can be transfem and a callaboy, transmasc and a callagirl, or any -arity and be a callaboy or callagirl. hell, in fact, i’m primarily abinary pangender transmascnull and i’m a callaboy and a callagirl! i’ll make null, androgynous/ambiguinous, ambiguous, outherine, and xenine equivalents to these, if anyone wants them! i specifically made these because i didn’t feel rosboy fit me, but a gender term for a boy whose identity is significantly gender neutral is more fitting to me! if anyone enjoys this term, more power to them!
