I'm not sure why, but sometimes the "tusks" will not appear in the right place. If this happens, just tweak the hat sliders a bit until it is in the proper position. Alternatively, restarting the game seems to fix the issue, but is highly inconsistent and doesn't work every time This issue canbe fixed by using the Hat Slider- Scale X Fix by Buckley

This is a bone-based slider that adjusts the legs to create an animal-like leg effect. It works for all ages and genders. This slider is called "Digitigrade Legs" can be found in the 'Head and Ears' section in Create-A-Sim. For children and toddlers, slightly lower settings of the slider look better. You can see my recommended settings in the picture below.
